MUA Palettes + Swatches

Hey everyone!

As you might know if you follow me on Twitter [@ohsnap90] I've placed a cheeky little order with MUA again recently. Haven't really reviewed the order before so I'll just divide it into multiple posts beginning with my palettes :)

This is going to be a picture heavy post because I'm not really good at describing colours so the swatches will have to do. But I do enjoy everything I got for sure!

The Immaculate Collection: They recently offered a free Immaculate palette when you spent £8 online or in store so of course I took advantage and let me tell you I couldn't be happier! The colours are so pretty, creamy and well pigmented [which applies to all of their palettes!], except for the second last shade which I don't mind at all since the other shades make up for it. The glittery colours also create a little fallout but you can prevent ruining your foundation by holding a tissue underneath your eyes when applying.

Pretty Pastels Palette: All of the shades are creamy and don't have any fall out, the colours are very summery obviously and although I'm opting for smokey shades at this time of the year, I still use them as a base colour and for highlighting the inner corners of my eyes.

Next is the Undressed palette, which is said to be a dupe for Urband Decay's famous Naked palette. I've seen quite a few comparisons on other blogs and the similarity can't be denied! I don't own the Naked palette because I can't justify spending a whopping £36 on a bunch of neutral colours but I think the Undressed palette is a great alternative :) Again, the matte shades [third and fifth] don't really show up but for a mere £3 I don't mind :D

My latest purchase is the Heaven&Earth palette to complete my collection of must-have shades and to be honest I just couldn't resist the bargain, it was £3 instead of £4, which is still a bargain though! Can't rave enough about the colours and the quality of the palettes so if you don't own them already you should pop into your local superdrug right NOW! :)

So what do you think of MUA? Do you own any palettes or other items by the brand? Or are you put off by high street cosmetics in general? Do share your thoughts! :)

    1. That's what I did, I owned about 643746827 single eyeshadows and gave them to my sisters now as the MUA palettes contain every shade I'd ever need :) xx
