Mini Lush Haul

Hiya lovelies! Hope you're all fine :)

This is a post I've been meaning to write for a while now but didn't get around to it yet as revision still takes up pretty much all of my time. A few weeks ago my lovely boyfriend treated me to some LUSH goodies as he knew I've been wanting to try some of their products for a while now. To be honest their products never grabbed my attention, I'm not into natural cosmetics at all and prefer strongly scented, so-chemical-they're-probably-bad-for-your-skin-products. Eventually Lush proved me wrong when I went there to get my mate some goodies for her birthday and had a little sniff. Almost all of their products smell amazing and how cute are all the little piles of bath bombs and massage bars? I'm seriously hooked on that shop now :)

Excuse the quality, I couldn't wait to use a few things so the picture I took in the evening had to do.
That one bath bomb wrapped in cellophane is the Tisty Tosty bath bomb my boyfriend's sister gave me for christmas and this is also the first one I've tried! The little rosebuds are such a nice touch and I loved the way they were floating around in the bath, definitely makes you feel like a princess haha :) I also really liked that the bath bomb dissolved completely instead of leaving a gritty residue and it smelled of actual roses, not the artificial scent a lot of products have!

So here's what I was allowed to choose :)

1. Space Girl bath bomb - Yes, the glitter made me purchase it in the first place. But seriously, this smells so lovely, kind of sweet and fruity and I think this is my fave scent out of the ones I got. Can't wait to use it, although it's almost too pretty to use! Love the pale lilac colour of this as well.

2. Rose Queen bath bomb - Again I was kind of drawn in by the outer appearance of this as it's pink, my favourite colour :) Apparently this smells like Tisty Tosty although I found Tisty Tosty to smell a tad more grown up if that makes sense.

3. The Rocketeer bath bomb - Unfortunately this isn't available on their website anymore, I think it's been one of their sale items but you might be lucky in store in case you're interested! I do like the scent of this although I don't love it as much as the Space Girl one but this one is hard to top, to be fair. It's shaped like a rocket which makes it a winner in my book anyway!

4. Angel's Delight soap - This is one of their christmas bestsellers, so this probably isn't available anymore I'm afarid. It's a multi-coloured soap with gold dust and a lovely fruity scent. I've seen the whole block in one of their shops before christmas and it looked absolutely stunning with its golden top! Go google it if you haven't seen it :)

5. Rock Star soap sample - This is only half of the sample I've been given, I've cut it in two pieces to make it  handy. That's another thing I really like about Lush, you're given a sample of your choice with every purchase! This were about 40g of product they gave to me for free, quite generous, eh? The Rock Star soap smells quite sweet which I love and it makes my whole bathroom smell of candy!

6. Honey I Washed The Kids soap sample - Another sample they gave me and this smells absolutely incredible! Like the name would suggest it smells like honey and apparently their Honey Bee bath bomb has the same scent so I might have to purchase this one next! Although I find their soaps are drying out my hands a bit, it's nothing a bit of hand cream can't fix.

That's everything the mister got for me, have you tried any of these? What do you think?

I still don't have the guts to try their face creams [they're crazily expensive anyway!] but I defnitely want to try one or two of their face masks next. And of course the shower gels, love the Snow Fairy one [a firm fave of almost any girl I know] which I got my mate last year!

Do let me know about your favourite Lush products!

  3. The Lettuce face mask is gorgeous, the only problem is you have to use it all within 3 days so I wish they did smaller tubs of it! xx
