Urban Decay Pocket Rocket review

Hiya lovelies! Hope you're all fine. I've been poorly again for the last couple of days now so no matter how bad I wanted to blog, I just haven't been able to. So today is just going to be a quick one, hopefully I'll be well again next week!

A while ago Kim from What Kimmi Did Next opened her little blogshop where she sells Urban Decay Pocket Rocket glosses in various shades amongst other brand new items. As these were very reasonably priced and I didn't own anything by UD back then I thought I might as well give them a go and see what they're like, so I've ordered MAX, a nude shade which arrived at my doorstep pretty quickly.

The lipgloss is housed in a slim, sturdy plastic tube with a flip image of a bloke in a wetsuit in the cap who strips down to his undies when flipped [ohh la la!]. It says 'rub me for your pheromone fix' on the tube and to be honest I have no idea where to rub until this day, and I'm not sure what this is supposed to do anyway aha! It's a funny little touch though.

The gloss itself smells of creme brûlée, if you don't know what that smells like it might just smell like burned sugar to you. Not that this is what I thought until I googled the scent..
it smells lovely once you get used to it, it's quite an unusual scent! It also has the perfect nude colour without any shimmer or glitter and a short, stiff brush applicator which I really like. The only downside [which might not be a downside to you] is that it's quite sticky but then again that's what makes it last longer and the shade is really really lovely so that's something I'll happily accept.

Just to give you an idea of what the shade looks like, I really want to try and include more pictures of myself on my blog as soon as I feel better, my face is just one spotty mess at the moment! Hope you enjoyed reading this post, it's a short one by my standards isn't it :)

Do you own any UD glosses? What do you think of them?

    1. I really like this one, altough I don't like sticky glosses either! I usually only wear this when my hair is in a bun or ponytail as I hate my hair being stuck to my gloss haha xx
