Urban Decay Naked Basics Review

Hiya lovelies! Hope you're all good and enjoying the sunshine :)

As I already mentioned in my 'What I got for my birthday' post, my lovely nan got me the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette which I've pretty much used everyday since I got it. I know every beauty blogger and their dog have already reviewed this but I thought I'd put in my two cents today.

I never paid too much attention to the Naked palettes as I'm happy with my MUA dupes [read my posts on them here and here] but seeing as the matte shades in there are hardly pigmented I thought the UD palette would be something worth investing in and I would of definitely purchased it if I hadn't received it. The little compact comes with a decent sized mirror and six full-size eyeshadows, four of which are exclusive to this palette. I've never tried Urban Decay eyeshadows before so didn't really know what to expect but as soon as I swatched the shades I fell in love. They're so soft and easy to blend and they're super pigmented as well! I've swatched them without a base to show you the pigmentation of them. Although I do love my shimmery eyeshadows, I like to pair neutral eye makeup with bright lips as I'm always worried about looking overdone. The first and lightest shade has a satin finish though which is perfect for the inner corners of the eye and highlighting your browbone. I also like how versatile this palette is, you can create anything from a shimmery, light eye makeup to a dark smokey eye, it's perfect for everyday wear. I'm super happy with this and if you haven't tried it yet, I recommend getting it! £20 is a bargain considering you get six full-size shadows of amazing quality.

Have you tried the Naked basics palette? Did you like it? Would it be something you'd use?
