My Spring/Summer Skincare Routine

Hiya lovelies! Today I thought I'd do an updated skincare routine post. Since summer is around the corner I have swapped my rich and nourishing skincare products for lighter gel textures to stop my skin from becoming oily. I have dry combination skin; please bear in mind that the products I use might not work for you. That being said, let's dive right in!

Soap&Glory For Daily Youth Foamy Moisture Face Wash
To me, there's no better feeling than taking off my makeup after a long day. During the warmer months I don't tend to wear as much makeup as I do during autumn/winter, so a light cleanser like this is perfect. I'm not giving away too much now, since I will be reviewing this in one of my Soap&Glory Sunday posts, but it's a lovely fuzz-free cleanser which doesn't dry out my skin.

Botanics Cleansing Toner All Bright
This is a product I have only recently discovered, but it has been a staple in my skincare routine ever since. My skin has never been this clear and it must be down to this toner, as there hasn't been anything new other than this in my routine lately - read my full review here. A big thumbs up from me, I'm definitely going to try a couple more products from this range. Let me know if there's anything you would recommend!

Origins Modern Friction
This dermabrasion scrub is one of the most gentle, yet effective facial scrubs I have ever tried. It's super creamy in texture but doesn't contain any harsh particles, which is great for those with sensitive skin. Like all Origins products, this smells lovely and makes my skin feel super soft - read my full review here.

Origins Drink Up
I can sense a theme here..It is what it is, Origins is probably my favourite high end skincare brand. I have raved about their products countless times, so I'm not going into too much detail in this post (you can read my review here) but the subtle peachy scent and light texture make me want to use this mask every single day. It's so moisturising but not greasy at all, it really is the perfect summer face mask!

Origins GinZing
The last Origins product, promise. A lightweight gel cream which smells of oranges and looks great on your dressing table. What's not to love? It sinks into my skin in no time but is still moisturising enough. I can't even tell you how much I'm loving this moisturiser, if you're still not tired of me singing the praises of Origins, you might want to have a read of my review here.

Clinique All About Eyes
I have been a wee bit obsessed with eye cream recently. This is mainly due to me being blessed with dark circles and puffiness around the eyes, but I'm also trying to start preventing fine lines and wrinkles. I really like this eye cream, it's moisturising and very lightweight so it sinks in really quickly. I have my eye on a couple of eye creams at the moment, but any recommendations are welcome!

So these are the products I am currently using, I hope you enjoyed reading this post and if you have any questions don't hesitate to drop me an email. You can alternatively tweet me @ohsnap90 and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

What's in your skincare stash at the moment?
Do you change up your routine according to the season?

  7. My favourite kind of post :)
I must admit, Origins features quite heavily in my skincare routine - I love the Make a Difference Rejuvenating Plus and Gin Zing - their masks are fab, too.
