Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set

Hiya lovelies! Can I just say how hard it is to get back into blogging? This post genuinely took me about an hour to write, and it still doesn't feel right. Have you ever experienced the same when you took a break from blogging? Please let me know in the comments below! But on to the post: If you read my birthday haul post last month, you'll know that my parents kindly got me the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set and a foldable mirror. I had plenty of time to try them out, so today, I'm putting in my two cents.

The Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set comes with eight natural and synthetic brushes, a lovely brown leather clutch and a dust bag, which makes it look way more expensive than it actually is. I think it's great for beginners and pros alike as it contains a good variety of brushes: a powder brush, buffing brush, blush brush, angled liner brush, pencil brush, crease brush, small stippling brush and a contour brush. My favourites are the angled blush brush and the crease brush, the latter is a close match to MAC's 217 which is one of my favourite eyeshadow brushes (can I say BRUSH one more time?) of all time. But not only are these brushes beautiful - who doesn't love a bit of rose gold? - their quality is amazing as well. I washed them twice since I got them and they didn't shed or loose their shape at all. I'm a firm believer that the right tools make a world of a difference when it comes to applying makeup and the Zoeva brushes are up there with the likes of MAC and Sigma in terms of quality. They are really soft and apply both cream and powder products very well. What's more, they are affordable, this particular brush set is £49 which is a bit of a bargain considering it contains eight brushes. There's not much to say about the foldable mirror really, it's great for travelling, and the message on the bottom is a nice touch. If you're on the lookout for new brushes, I can't recommend the Zoeva ones enough! And while you're at it, why not check out their makeup range as well? The mineral blushers and lip crayons are on top of my list!

Have you tried anything from Zoeva?
