Elemis Balancing Radiance Collection

I've been dying to try Elemis products for a while now so naturally, with a 20% off code from HQ Hair, I couldn't resist and ordered their Balancing Radiance Collection. The mint see-through bag (which is the perfect travel companion) contains a full sized Lime Blossom cleanser and Lavender toner, as well as a travel sized Flash Balm

Ever since reading through skincare guru Caroline Hirons' blog for hours on end I completely changed my skincare routine, and my skin has been thanking me for it. I have dry combination skin, so I went for the balancing collection but there are two more gift sets to choose from, catering for oily and dry/mature skin. Can I just say that I absolutely love the cleanser and toner, they smell incredible and, most importantly, they didn't break me out! I never really had problems with my skin, apart from uneven skin tone and the odd break out every now and then, but since using the cleanser and toner every single night I haven't had a single spot (touch wood).

The cleanser feels really luxurious, it's a creamy, milky texture you massage into the skin and take off with a face cloth. It even removes makeup, although I prefer using this as my second cleanser. It makes my skin feel squeaky clean without leaving it feeling tight and dry which is amazing as I found most cleansers too drying on my skin. I'd even go as far as saying that this is my favourite cleanser out of all the ones I ever tried! The toner is just as great, I love the soothing lavender scent and the fact that it's a spray bottle makes it even better, as it doubles up as a facial mist. Both products work great together and really helped making my skin feel and look a lot better. I'll definitely be stocking up on these two products! I wouldn't repurchase the Flash Balm though, I'm not too keen on the scent and apart from that it didn't seem to do much for me. It's not a bad product, I just prefer my Clarins Flash Balm which really does what it says on the tin. This was my second time trying Elemis products, after being disappointed with their Fresh Skin Magical Moisture Mask, but I'm officially a convert now.

Have you tried any of these? Which Elemis products should I try next?
I'd love some recommendations!

  1. I haven't tried any Elemis products yet but have been dying to try their cleanser. Stephen :o)

  2. These sound so luxurious, I have never tried out the skincare range from Elemis.

I have only ever used Elemis products when I have visited a spa and the odd bath product at home (the Spa at Home Tranquil Touch Indulgent Bath Elixir is AH-MAZING).
