Hi lovelies!
A couple of days ago I've been tagged by the lovely Nuala from Makeup, Beauty, Shopping to do the 'What's in my shower' tag. Unfortunately my bathroom doesn't have a window [I know!] so I took a picture of terrible quality to show you how I store the products in my bathroom and a few more pictures of bad quality where I've draped the products themselve on my bedroom's windowsill. So please excuse the crappy pictures, I just wanted to do this tag so bad as I'm really nosey and enjoy seeing this kind of post on other blogs! :) So if any of you have done this tag as well, please let me know in the comments and leave your links!
Nothing spectacular here [well I guess theres nothing spectacular to come either, sorry], I'm storing everything in this corner shelve, my Soap&Glory shower puff, a Gilette Venus razor and a peeling glove from Primark attached underneath. I'm loving the razor as it has 5 blades and it's just quicker than waxing and almost as thoroughly. I've found the peeling glove in Primark months ago and you can use it with any shower gel you like if you don't have a peeling at hand, which won't ever be the case though haha.
Moving on to my scrubs and shower gels, yes, I am addicted to Soap&Glory I confess! I dont know where to start raving, the smell of their products is the most gorgeous smell ever and the shower gel has lasted me for over a year now! A little goes such a long way. It also leaves your skin feeling moisturised and smelling nice for hours. On the left theres a Como Shambhala shower gel which came free with a back issue of InStyle and I've only just started using it, love the refreshing smell! The other two products are by a german drugstore brand called Balea, it's the 'Juicy Melon' shower gel and 'Buttermilk&Lemon' peeling which smells like ice cream! Amazing smells and they were a steal at about 50p for the shower gel and £1 for the peeling.
I don't know why I've included the Clinique cleansers as I really don't use/like them at all, guess because they were still lying around on the shelve.. I know everyone seems to be loving their 3 step routine but it just doesn't work for me, even after using it for weeks my skin didn't improve at all!
As I'm not too fussy about hair care [Aussie is the only brand I always get back to] I've currently been using a Herbal Essences shampoo and Dove's Express Treatment Conditioner which is actually pretty great! My hair doesn't look dull anymore yey! :)
Finally, my fav cleansers. Not going to review all of them now, if you would like me to review any product shown above just let me know! I really like Face, Soap&Clarity as well as Scrub Your Nose In It [used as a mask] because they do improve my skin a lot, especially when I'm breaking out in spots every now and then. The other two I'm only using when my skin is dry as I find they can leave a greasy residue otherwise.
Are you using any of these products? If so, let me know what you think!
I'd also like to tag anyone who actually wants to do this! And pleeease let me know if you've done this tag! :)
great post! The Juicy Melon shower gel looks amazing, wish I could get hold of that in the UK! Would love to be tagged in this :) xx

DeleteI love this tag and great post! I like the soap and glory products! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you :) I'm such a sucker for their products x
DeleteCan you get Soap and Glory in Germany as well? And well done on making that shower gel last so long, I use mine up sooooo quick :) xx

Well ye you can but the prices are ridiculous [Sit Tight xs retails for €40 which would be around £32 instead of the RRP of 16.50..] so I'm stocking up on everything anytime I'm in England. Really? I've been using the Face Soap&Clarity daily for about half a year now and theres still a quarter left! A little goes such a long way :) xx
DeleteYou're so lucky you have a bath room that you can put all your personal stuff in. I share my bathroom with six other people, and I can't hang up my things in the shower like yours. If I had my own, I think mine set up would like very similar to yours. Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh now that's loads of people to share a bathroom with! Totally feel you're annoyed by that, are you living in a student dorm? You're welcome, I thought this was an interesting tag as well x
DeleteI love this tag! You have some fab products :) I love Soap and Glory! My shower is a bit boring really, just shampoo and conditioner and shower gel haha!

DeleteI love seeing what's in people's showers. It sounds so creepy but bloggers understand. ;) Loving all the soap&glory you have there, I'm seeing what I can add to my shopping list for next time. Love the breakfast scrub but scrub 'em and leave 'em might just trump it for me. :) x
