Wishlist Wednesday - Kiko Make Up Milano

Hiya lovelies, I hope you're all well.

Can I just say I'm glad to be back! My internet wasn't working for four days (more like four months) so I couldn't post anything or even publish scheduled posts. But anyway, I'm back with a Wishlist Wednesday post today, yay!

I went shopping with my sister yesterday and unfortunately she dragged me into a Kiko store. I haven't tried much from them, but the things I have tried - like their blending brush - really did impress me. Trust me, I easily could of bought everything if I wasn't skint, that's why I decided to put together a Kiko wishlist, you know, just in case someone needs some payday treat inspiration..I hope you enjoy this post, make sure to let me know what's on your wishlist at the minute!

1) Soft Light Powder - £11.90 - This one kind of reminded me of the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powders, minus the heavy price tag! The shade range isn't as good as MAC's, but if it's just as good in terms of quality, we're onto a winner.

2) Rock Attraction Blush - £12.90 - I swatched this beauty in store and immediately fell for the shade Pop Apricot. You might know I'm a sucker for anything peachy coral and this limited edition blush is right up my street!

3) Revitalizing Elastic Scrub - £12.90 -  Who doesn't love a good scrub? I know I do! The bright pink tub caught my eye immediately, it just looks so pretty and summery. The scrub itself is bright pink as well, which is perfect for a girly girl like myself. But not only does it look lovely, it also smells pretty amazing. It has a light floral fragrance which reminds me of summer holidays spent in Italy as a kid. What's not to love?

4) Sun Lovers Blush - £14.90 - Another limited edition blusher which is too pretty to pass up! This one is from their Life In Rio collection and it's a duo blusher. With a pearly bronze shade on the left and a soft coral shade on the right you can either wear this as a blusher or as a highlighter. I love a good multitasker!

5) Palette Clics System 9 Pan Palette - £9.90 - With their Palette Clic System Kiko has launched a line similar to the MAC Pro Palettes. You can choose between five different sizes which hold up to 24 eyeshadows and the refills are more affordable than the MAC ones, too. The shade range is really impressive with over 100 shades and different finishes to choose from. I have swatched a couple of shades in store and mentally put together a list of shades to build my own palette soon.

Have you tried any of these products? Has anything caught your eye?

Nuxe Spring Wishlist

With spring around the corner I thought I'd share with you a little spring inspired wishlist from a brand I've recently discovered and fell in love with. Nuxe was founded 25 years ago, and today some of their products are staples in most bloggers skincare routine. I'll be reviewing one of their best selling products on here soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that! But for now, here's a wishlist of some of the things I'd love to incorporate into my routine come spring.

1. Micellar Cleansing Water - the hype surrounding micellar waters doesn't seem to end anytime soon, surprisingly I still haven't tried a single one to date. I just didn't get the hype and was happy to stick with my hot cloth cleansers, but this offering from Nuxe seems too good to pass up. The delicate fragrance of rose petals sounds right up my street and a light, refreshing cleanser sounds perfect for the spring time.

2. Crème Prodigieuse - this moisturiser claims to leave a matte effect on the skin whilst protecting against oxidative stress, the main cause of skin aging. During the warmer months my skin tends to get a little oily during the day so a mattifying moisturiser is a must!

3. Gentle Exfoliating Gel With Rose Petals - this one made it onto my wishlist purely for the name, anything with rose petals in it has to be good, right? I also like to exchange most cream products in my winter skincare stash with lighter gel formulas, so this one would be a perfect addition to my spring skincare regime. I also love the light pink packaging!

4. Rêve de Miel Lip Moisturising Stick - their Rêve de Miel lip balm is probably one of their best known (and loved) products, but definitely not the most practical thing to throw in your hand bag when you're out and about enjoying the sunshine! This is where this little stick comes in handy, because who doesn't love a fuzz-free lip product?

5. Nuxe Body 24hr Moisturising Body Lotion - when your stepping out bare-legged in spring (I CAN NOT wait), you obviously don't want your limbs to look all dry. The moisturising body lotion contains ingredients such as sweet almond oil and orange flower petals to make your skin feel and look soft and moisturised. It's also said to sink in super quick, which is always a bonus.

I hope you enjoyed today's post lovelies! I'd love to know if you've tried any of these products, or if there's anything else I should try.

Which products would be on your wishlist?

My High End Christmas Wishlist

Hiya lovelies!

Recently I've seen loads of christmas/high end wishlists popping up on the blogs I follow, so I thought why not share my wishlist as well! The reason I only put high end items on there is because I rarely splurge on them during the year and what better occasion than christmas to treat yourself or a loved one to something special? So here's what I've been lusting after recently..

1. Jo Malone fragrance Peony&Blush Suede
Ahh this sounds heavenly, doesn't it. I haven't given it a sniff yet but I imagine this to smell as gorgeous as any other Jo Malone fragrance. Plus peonies are my favourite flowers in the world so this has to be on my wishlist.

2. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette
Same goes for this little beaut. It looks gorgeous and I'd love to place one humongous Space NK order and buy them all, but at £56 a pop this requires some serious swatch googling and blog reading beforehand.

3. Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in Bitch Perfect
Everyone and his dog went crazy for Charlotte Tilbury's makeup range last month. There are a couple of items I'd splurge on, such as the Powder&Sculpt brush and Bar Of Gold highlighter but the lipstick in Bitch Perfect is the one item I just need to get my mitts on.

4. Tom Ford lipstick in Spanish Pink
I've seen Liza wearing the most gorgeous peachy pink lipstick in one of her posts and although I'm not blonde, nor blue eyed I fell in love with it. It's crazily expensive at £36 so I'll admire it from afar until I can justify spending that much on a lipstick.

5. Urban Decay Naked 3
In case you haven't heard about this yet, what are you? It's quite obvious that this is on most bloggers' wishlists, as long as they weren't lucky enough to already have received it as a pr sample. It's the perfect addition to the already existing Naked range and I can't wait to add this to my collection.

6. YSL Youth Liberator foundation
The lovely Lily and Anna have been raving about this a lot, and it's due to them I want to give this a go. I'm always on the look-out for the perfect foundation and this sounds right up my street with it's hydrating, full coverage formula and anti aging properties.

7. Diptyque candle
First things first, I love the look of the permanent range, but not the christmas collections. Just me? Since I'm quite happy with my Primark candles I never really felt the need to spend £40 on a candle. But there's something about them which makes me want to give in to the hype!

So this is my high end wishlist, I hope you enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed putting it together!
Let me know if you've tried any of these items and if they're worth their price tag in your eyes.

Wishlist Wednesday #4

Hiya lovelies! Hope you're alright! I had the worst day in a long time so I thought some blogging should cheer me up and it felt like I haven't done a Wishlist Wednesday post in ages. We all have a wishlist or twenty, I know I do. I really enjoy putting these kind of posts together as it makes it easier for me to decide on what to treat myself to come payday! We all deserve a treat every now and then, don't we. So here are a couple of things off my wishlist, hope you enjoy reading.

Bourjois cream blush: I've been lusting after these ever since they were released but never got round to actually trying them as I couldn't decide on a shade. Every blogger and their dog have been raving about them so I might have to get all of the shades.

Maybelline Color Whisper: unfortunetaly these are only available in the US. As far as I can tell they are similar to the Revlon lip butters which I love. The colour range is great as well there are 20 shades to choose from. I have my eye on Pinup Peach since peachy pink lips are right up my street. I'd happily take any of the shades though!

Bath&Body Works Anti Bacs: a while ago I mentioned on Twitter that I'm about to purchase a couple of these for a ridiculous amount of £££ off eBay. You just can't beat their scents and how they make your hands feel plus I always need to have a hand sanitiser at hand [see what I did there?]. Why can't we have a BBW over here? Can't they tell we need one!

Soap&Glory Hand Dream: I've been using Hand Food for ages and it's by far my favourite hand cream so I'd love to try the latest addition to their handcare range.

Mac Paint Pot in Vintage Selection: you all know how much I love my paint pots and Vintage Selection seems like such a gorgeous shade. They're not exactly cheap but well worth the £15 and I plan on expanding my collection!

Which products have you been lusting after this month?
Let me know in the comments below!

Wishlist Wednesday #3

Hiya lovelies!

I haven't done a Wishlist Wednesday post in ages so I thought I'd post one today. I don't know about you but I thoroughly enjoy putting wishlists together! Which sounds a little sad typed out but oh well. I equally enjoy reading other people's wishlists, more often than not I found myself lusting after items which were featured on another blog. So hopefully you'll enjoy todays wishlist :)

1. The Body Shop Papaya body butter - I raved about their body butters a while ago, every single product I've tried smelled divine, so when I spotted their summer collection a couple of days ago I knew I had to have at least one body butter. They've got papaya, passion fruit, raspberry and blueberry which all smell amazing, and since I can't pick a fave I might have to get them all. Cheeky!

2. Zara Shopper Basket - This is such a gorgeous bag and it's such a bargain as well! I've been searching high and low for a bag like this, a plain yet chic black bag. Somehow I keep buying tan/beige/brown bags, the one I'm currently using is a coral one so black would make a nice change.

3. Daisy by Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh Sunshine - What a mouthful. Although I adore Marc Jacobs's fragrances, Daisy seemed to be a tad too subtle for my liking. This one smells completely different though, kind of more fruity and fun and not as sophisticated as it's big sister. This one definitely makes for the perfect summer fragrance!

4. Bourjois Cream Blusher - These have been raved about by every beauty blogger and their nan lately. I think there are currently four shades available which all look lovely and I wouldn't mind adding them to my ridiculous blusher collection. I only recently got into using cream blusher more often and love the dewy finish they give.

5. Real Techniques Duo Fibre Collection - Ever since I've purchased my first RT brush set I've been a woman obsessed. These are by far the best brushes I've ever used and they're so cheap as well! I also really like the design of these particular ones. Would love to add this limited edition set to my collection, a girl can't have too many makeup brushes right?

What's on your wishlist this month?

Wishlist Wednesday #2

Hey guys :)

So I'm accidentally doing a spending ban since the beginning of january. Seeing as I have to pay a semester fee next month it's quite convenient that loads of other bloggers are doing the spending ban so I thought I might as well join in. I've decided to make one exception though, namely the case of MUA hitting 50,000 followers on Facebook which would mean 50% off your entire order plus free shipping. Would be rude not to stock up on palettes, wouldn't it!
As you might guess, there are even more beauty products I find myself craving now and since most bloggers who are on a spending ban include wishlists in their 'update posts' [which I'm not going to do, I'm babbling all the time anyway!] I figured another Wishlist Wednesday won't hurt, so here goes.

1. Topshop lipstick in Ohh la la - I still don't own any Topshop makeup items and since I've become obsessed with lipsticks over the past few months this would be a welcomed addition to my makeup bag. The shade Ohh la la is a coral/peachy/orangey [being very precise here] kind of shade as far as I can tell from swatches. Also, Zoe from Zoella raves about it non-stop which is obviously what made me want it in the first place ha.

2. Barry M Lip Gloss Wand in Strawberry Milkshake - Another product one of my favourite bloggers [the adorable Beth from Birds Words] raved about in this post. I love Barry Ms nail paints but never paid too much attention to their lipgloss range. Apparently the gloss smells like the name of each shade which is a major bonus in my book.

3. Bath&Body Works Hand Sanitiser - As I've mentioned recently, I'm overly scared of germs&bacteria so it's only natural I'm obsessed with hand sanitisers and go through this stuff like crazy. My best friend gave one of these to me which she bought when she was still living in the US [unfortunately BBW don't ship overseas boo] and they're so so moisturising and smell amazing!

4. Revlon lip butters in EVERY shade - Nothing to add really, I've only got one so far and I love it, so I'd like to get my hands on a few more all shades.

5. Essie Mint Candy Apple - This has to be one of the most popular shades in their range and being a lover of all things turquoise this little beauty is right up my street. I love the wide brush and also need something to replace my favourite turquois nail varnish which, unfortunately, I've just run out of.

6. YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation - I'm having high hopes for this one. I love the original Touche Éclat and it works wonders at covering dark undereye circles so if this foundation is just as good, I'm sold!

7. Origins Super Spot Remover - My skin has been acting up a lot lately so when I asked the #bbloggers in one of the previous chats on Twitter, loads of them recommended this one to get rid of blemishes as soon as they pop up. Origins seems to be quite popular as of late and I'm yet to try their products!

8. Sleek Blusher in Pomegranate - Whilst rushing past the Sleek stand in Superdrug the other day I didn't pay attention to anything else but their rose gold blusher which I've been meaning to pick up for ages. Threw it into my basket and off to the till I went, only to see three blogposts on their pomegranate blusher poppig up in my reader later that day and the swatches looked gorgeous! As I love the rose gold one, I'd love to get a few more shades.

So this is basically half of my wishlist and I'm planning on treating myself to some of these products once the spending ban is over!

What do you think? Have you tried any of these products?
I'd love to hear your thoughts on them!

Wishlist Wednesday

Hello lovelies and welcome to any new readers!
Hope you're all fine. I still can't believe there are already more than 70 people following my blog, thank you so so much! :)

Today I thought I'd share what's currently on my wishlist because I think Wishlist Wednesday just is a great name for a post ha. I've recently discovered beautysets after reading about it on Kayleigh's blog which I love to pieces! So today I gave it a go as I usually would just copy and paste random pictures into Picasa and giving up on it after half an hour because it never turned out how I wanted it to. This time it turned out quite alright though :) But see for yourselves.

What's on your wishlist this week?

Wishlist A/W

Hello ladies :)

To begin with, welcome to my new followers! I'm so happy to see people do actually like my blog though I haven't posted much yet! Thanks you lovely lot :) I usually start loads of posts with apologies because I haven't gotten around to post something but after sunday's #bbloggers chat [can you tell I'm obsessed already?] I've kind of learned to just blog whenever I feel like blogging and whenever I find the time because I'm pretty busy most of the time and felt bad about that. Also got loads of great advice on time management so if you missed the last chat for some reason and need some tips you can find a summary on the #bbloggers blog.

I've tried to create my first set ever on Polyvore today because I really wanted to create a collage of some key pieces I need to purchase for autumn/winter this year. My wardrobe is bursting with shorts and cropped shirts which is nice without doubt but not really useful now that the days are getting colder especially as I'm almost always freezing. Looking forward to autumn though because I can finally dig out my muddy nail polish shades again :) Alrighty enough talk let's look at what I've gathered up!

I do love cheerful colours you see ;) Well it's time to confess that I'm not very adventurous regarding my choice of clothes, I'm feeling comfortable wearing plain and earthy colours most of the time with the only eception being my nails which are always sporting the weirdest colours hehee.

1. Waistcoat - H&M - I've been looking for a fake fur waistcoat for ages but anytime I've seen one the colour didn't seem pretty enough, it didn't fit properly or it's been way too expensive. This one from H&M is very reasonably priced [around £25] and I hope to find it in one of their stores since the shipping costs are ridiculous when ordering online and it always takes them ages to ship your order!
2. Vest - Even&Odd - I'm a sucker for plain vests and basics in general moreover I'm in love with the nifty print :) I also enjoy silhouettes of trees and branches on literally anything god only knows why! Have to look for a cheaper alternative still as this is around the £30 mark but this collage is more of an inspiration anyway to see what I'd like to wear after all.
3. Ear Studs - Marc Jacobs - Jewellery is something I only get out on special occasions like a night out, birthday parties something like this. I do however like to wear plain ear studs everyday because I think this makes my face look complete somehow haha. The ones I've put in the collage are by Marc Jacobs and have his name written on them circularly which already make them a winner in my book ;)
4. Cable knit snood - John Lewis - Everyone loves a knitted anything I guess and snoods are just so comfy! I prefer them over scarfs as well since the ends are bugging somehow. I know how dull that must sound to you but I'm annoyed easily ;) Loving the creamy colour!
5. Gloves - Auclair - Same goes for gloves, gotta love knitted ones! What I like about these is that they're a little longer than usual to keep your wrists warm as well!
6. Boots - Ugg Australia - This is the parting of the ways and has been for years. I have to admit I've literally been living in my Uggs for the past three winters and to top it all of I do love their appearance! Being the girly girl  I am I'd love to get my hands on the sequinned version of them but I'm not yet ready to fork out a stupid amount of money so I'll stick with my chestnut 'coloured' ones ;)
7. Suede Boots - Mango - I already have about three or four similar pairs but a girl can't ever have enough boots right? As I'm quite tall I usually go for flat shoes and I also think the buckles are so pretty!
8. Sweater - Gina Tricot - Off-the-shoulder tops are a recent favourite of mine I dont even know what it is that I love so much about them I guess it's the way they accent your collarbones lol. You can't see it in the picture but this particular one from Gina Tricot [are there any stores in the UK? I've discovered them in Germany and love their range!] is knitted which you probably can't see in the picture but it looks really cosy to me :)
9. Jeans - Topshop - This was more of a spontaneous addition as I usually wear black tights/leggings or plain skinny jeans. I haven't owned any coloured jeans for as long as I can remember! I do like the autumnal colour though and think it would match almost any other colour in my wardrobe so I might keep my eyes peeled for a similar pair or I might as well order it from Topshop for £38 which is fair enough.
10. Leather jacket - Muubaa - This would definitely be an autumnal piece of clothing for me because it wouldnt keep me warm enough in winter but I absolutely adore the wide collar! Had to gasp seeing the price tag though because this is about £250! No chance I would spend that much on a 'between seasons' jacket.
11. Bag - Secret Pon-Pon - I've recently purchased a pink/tan coloured purse from Gina Tricot which is the first colourful bag in my collection and will remain the only one it seems. I'm such a sucker for brown/beige/tan/cream coloured bags!
12. Studded Slipper - Zara - I've seen almost every girl in Germany wearing these and I think they are so fancy! Think Topshop has identical ones as well. I have to get these before they sell out soon but there was always something getting in the way [which means I like to spend all the money I've got on silly amounts of makeup]. Studs are one of the biggest trends in fashion this year and still I dont own anything with studs on it get a load of this! This needs to change :)

Alright ladies, we did it! This was one long post, please excuse my chattiness!

What do you think of the items I've picked? Would you buy anything from my wishlist or do you already own some of the things pictured?
