5 concealers for every skin type and budget

If I had to choose one makeup item and get rid of everything else, it would be concealer. When I'm not tanned (which is like 99% of the time, I'm not good with fake tan) I have ridiculously dark undereye circles and discolouration around my nose and mouth, so concealer has always been a must. I've tried my fair share over the years, so today I'm talking you through five options that stood the test of time.

MAC Pro Longwear concealer £18
Like every MAC product this comes in a wide range of shades to suit every skintone and colour. My skin has yellow undertones and my usual MAC shade is NC25. Since I'm using this to get rid of dark circles, I always go for NW20 because peach coloured products counteract the blue veins which are causing them. I also go a shade lighter to brighten my undereye area. The Pro Longwear concealer has amazing coverage and staying power but can be a tad drying - on the bright side, it hardly creases on me throughout the day. The only downside to this is the pump. One pump would be sufficient to cover your entire face and it's quite hard to dispense the right amount, but four tubes down I finally figured it out.
Coverage: full
Staying power: up to 15 hrs
Shade range: 16 shades (8 NC/yellow toned shades, 8 NW/pink toned shades)
Packaging: glass bottle with pump

17 concealer £4.49
If you found the Collection concealer (my all time favourite) too drying you'll love this one. Same coverage and staying power but not as matte! Also, it's cheap as chips - what's not to love? I'll tell you: it only comes in three shades, extra fair (neutral, almost white), fair (cool/pink toned) and medium (warm/yellow toned). I use fair as an undereye concealer and medium on any blemishes but imagine anyone with a different skintone won't find a matching shade. I know we're used to shoddy shade ranges but three shades is quite meagre.
Coverage: medium to full
Staying power: 8 hrs
Shade range: 3 shades
Packaging: doe-foot

Bourjois Radiance Reveal concealer £7.99
This offering from Bourjois is very creamy and smells delicious. It contains glacier water and hyaluronic acid which makes it very moisturising and great for dry skin types. As an undereye concealer it claims to correct and illuminate which I think it does. It's peach toned (again, great to ban those pesky dark circles!) and has a light to medium coverage. Layered on top of the MAC concealer this gives me some seriously bright peepers! Unfortunately this also comes in a mere three shades, definitely something that should be improved in the future.
Coverage: light to medium
Staying power: 6 hrs
Shade range: 3 shades
Packaging: doe-foot

Maybelline Eraser Eye concealer £7.99
The Maybelline Eraser Eye concealer has been around for ages and it's one of those products I have put off trying for a long time because it comes with the most impractical sponge applicator. A product which is designed to use around the eyes surely shouldn't allow too many bacteria to harbour? Well, that's exactly what this is doing. The concealer itself is amazing, it's creamy, illuminating, has great coverage and staying power, but please, just put it in a squeezy tube, will you Maybelline?
Coverage: medium
Staying power: 6 hrs
Shade range: 5 shades
Packaging: twist-up sponge tip

NYX HD concealer £5.50
This is basically the same as the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer and it's a concealer I'd repurchase without hesitation. It's £1.50 more but it's that tiny bit less drying and the shade range is a lot better than the Collection one which consists of a mere four shades. It's super creamy and longlasting and a great option if you're one a budget.
Coverage: full
Staying power: 8hrs
Shade range: 9+3 correction shades
Packaging: doe-foot

New In - Soap&Glory Makeup

I've actually had these products for a good six months now and only got round to blogging about them today, so let's get straight to the point before they're discontinued...

I can't quite take to these brow gels. I think Benefit were the first to launch a fibre enriched, tinted brow gel, with quite a few high street brands to follow suit. So when Soap&Glory makeup was on 3 for 2 I decided to give it a try. The Archery Volu-Boost gel comes in three different shades like most of their brow products. When I bought it there were only two shades available, so I've got a shade called Mocha up Your Mind, which as been replaced by either Brownie Points or Hot Chocolate. The darkest shades are almost always perfect for me but I can imagine a lot of people having difficulties finding a shade match. The tinted gel has tiny little fibres in it, designed to make your lashes look fuller and keep them look groomed for up to 12 hours. It also claims to be waterproof, which often means the product leaves your brows feeling very crispy, and this is no exception. But then again, show me a brow gel which doesn't! Unfortunately my brows are very sparse and I'm aware that these products won't fill in larger gaps, however, it does make them look fuller. If you're looking for a product to tame your (otherwise perfect) brows and give them a bit of oomph, try this!

Next up is the Sexy Mother Pucker Matte-Lip. These are the cutest little lip crayons! The Mother Pucker Matte-Lip range consists of six shades and comes in sleek, matte, colour-coordinated packaging. It claims to sculpt and volumise, which is a bit exaggerated in my opinion; The shape however allows for precise application, which is great for thin lips like mine. It applies smoothly and doesn't go patchy on the lips at all. It's lightweight and although it's matte, it transfers quite easily. On the bright side, it won't dry out your lips! For £3.50 you really can't go wrong with these. I've got the shade Chocco Berry which is a lovely autumn/winter berry shade.

The powder version of Glow All Out has been my favourite highlighter for years. When I spotted the cream version in Boots I obviously had to get it and boy, I'm glad I did. Unlike the powder version, which is a peachy pink golden shade, the stick has more of a silvery champagne colour, aptly named Ice Shimmer. It's not overly creamy but does pack a punch pigmentation wise. I found the best way to apply this is dabbing it on with my ring finger and blending it with my RT Bold Metals 300 brush. You can build it up to a strong highlight without ruining your foundation, given that you don't apply it straight from the tube.
Same goes for the Love at First Blush cheek stick. If you're anything like me, you're running late most mornings. Any product that serves multiple purposes and lets you hit the snooze button just one more time is a winner in my books. This blush stick isn't for the faint hearted, it's very, very shimmery. It looks lovely when applied though, and I think the pink shade suits all skintones. It'd make a beautiful highlight on darker skintones as well! Much like the highlighter this dries down to a powdery finish which I love, I'm not a fan of cream products which feel heavy on my skin. Overall I'm smitten with the blush sticks and lip crayon and can't recommend their makeup range enough!

Have you tried any of these products or anything else from the S&G makeup range?

Highlight on fleek - my favourite highlighters

If you know me, you know I love a good highlight - who doesn't these days? Today I wanted to share with you my top picks, from liquid to powder, from subtle to IN YOUR FACE! Brace yourselves for the glowiest of all posts.

The Liquids

Soap&Glory Hocus Focus Instant Visual Flaw-Softening Lotion
Quite a mouthful! This is an old bottle, it now comes in a more travel friendly plastic packaging as opposed to the glass one. Hocus Focus contains 30ml for £11 which is such a bargain price considering this has lasted me 5 years - and it's still going strong! (Bit gross? Well yes, maybe.) It's almost iridescent with a watery consistency and works great mixed in with a matte foundation for a dewy look. If used sparingly it won't make your skin look greasy and it has the lovely signature S&G scent, but don't worry, the scent fades after a couple of minutes.

Becca liquid
Now this obviously is a more bronzed shade (Opal) which makes for the perfect summer highlighter. You can either mix it in with your foundation, use it as a primer, which makes for a more subtle glow, or just use it as a liquid highlighter on the high points of your face. It's a multitasker really! The consistency of this is lovely, it's not as runny as the Soap&Glory one and feels slightly silicone-y. A must try if you love your Becca powder highlighters!

The three that pack a punch

Now these aren't for the faint hearted and you definitely have to use a light hand with these as it's easy to go overboard - you have been warned!

Soap&Glory Glow All Out
This pink golden stunner is one of the most pigmented highlighters I've ever used. It's really soft and dare I say it "buttery", and, you only need a tiny amount to achieve a lovely glow.

Urban Decay Flushed palette in Streak
Another super pigmented one, this Urban Decay highlighter is included in their Flushed palettes. I've got the Streak palette which contains a matte coral blusher, a lovely bronzer and this peachy golden shade. This doesn't blend as nicely as the other two, which may be due to the slightly metallic finish, so you want to make sure you tap off any excess and apply with a light hand!
staying power 4/5 chunky glitter 2/5 blendability 3/5

TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer
Probably the best known and one of the most coveted highlighters these days. TheBalm definitely hit the nail on the head when they created this champagne coloured beauty. It's definitely the most pigmented of the bunch. I got this in the Manizer Sisters palette which also contains a beautiful pink highlighter (Cindy-Lou Manizer) and a bronze shade (Betty-Lou Manizer). My favourite has to be the original one though, especially on a night out!

The all over glow

Bourjois Java Rice Powder

A reinvented classic from 1897, the Java Rice powder was one of the first Bourjois products. First of all, this is worth getting for the packaging alone - SO gorgeous! The translucent shimmery powder has an old fashioned powdery scent which is strong but fades shortly after application. You can either use this as an all over face powder, in which case your skin WILL look greasy by lunchtime or, you apply this to those areas on your face which lack radiance or seem a bit dull. For me that would be my forehead and the jar line, where my skin is super dry. The only thing I hate about this is the waste of product due to packaging. It comes with a twist top which makes it impossible to only get the amount needed on your brush.
staying power 3/5 chunky glitter 4/5 blendability 3/5

I hope you enjoyed this round up of my favourite highlighters! I seriously missed out on the whole strobing trend, but the way I see it, it's just a new and fancy name for highlighting, isn't it?

MAC x Simpsons Blushers - Pink Sprinkles & Sideshow You

I know, I know. Blogging about a product that was limited edition is practically a beauty bloggers crime. But let me explain: I've been a HUGE Simpsons fan for ages now, so naturally I've been waiting for this MAC collection to come out ever since it has been announced. I was at work when it went online and, as it goes with MAC collections, they sell out within a matter of minutes. I was lucky enough to snap up two genuine ones from eBay (bit risky, I know) so I thought you might enjoy some makeup porn today. I know I would!

The texture of these is incredible, they're super soft, easy to blend and very pigmented, which is something I really appreciate about limited edition products, as a tiny little bit goes a long way. The colours are gorgeous as well - Pink Sprinkles is a lovely medium pink "I've just been for a nice autumnal walk" shade, when in fact you've been sitting in front of your computer blogging all day. Sideshow You is even prettier, it's a gorgeous peachy pink shade with a hint of shimmer, think a muted Nars Orgasm kind of shade. I can't even begin to tell you how glad I am to have gotten my hands on both of them!

Did you get anything from the MAC x Simpsons collection?

Mini Reviews #2 - Stila, Estée Lauder & Primark Beauty

Hiya lovelies!

Do you ever find yourself wondering how to find the time to blog about all those products you've got lying around? Don't get me wrong, I feel incredibly blessed to be able to afford a lot of things nowadays, as this hasn't always been the case, I just want to blog about all of them, which is why I came up with the 'mini reviews series'. Three reviews rolled into one because sometimes, there's only so much you can say about a product. Make sure to let me know what you think! Today's reviews include a Stila lip gloss, an Estée Lauder mini eyeshadow palette and a Primark mascara and lash curler.

Stila Lip Glaze in Prism
It's almost been a year since the lovely Adrienne sent me this as part of my secret santa gift. I haven't tried anything from Stila before, despite lusting after their iconic Kitten eyeshadow since the age of 14. One thing I really like about their glosses is the clear twist up packaging, no more searching for the right shade (I'm looking at you, MAC lipsticks) or wondering how much product is left. Prism is a sheer coral shade with multi coloured glitter in it, not something I'd usually go for but since the glitter particles are teeny tiny, it looks lovely on the lips. It's slightly sticky which I don't mind, and I really like the brush applicator. £15 is a bit steep for a gloss in my eyes, but I like this enough to say I'd purchase more shades in the future.

Estée Lauder Pure Colour Mini Eyeshadow Palette
This is the dinkiest little eyeshadow palette I've ever seen! The four shades are the size of my thumbnail each but this doesn't make them less amazing. It comes with two satin shades, a pale pink and a soft brown, a shimmery forest green shade and a matte plum shade, all of which are perfect for this time of year. The quality of these is lovely, they are really pigmented and super soft, comparable to Urban Decay eyeshadows. I'm dying to try some more Estée Lauder products now!

Primark Beauty Mascara & Eyelash Curler
I should have known these were going to be a let down, but who can resist when they're only a quid each? It's not the formula, or the brush that has left me disappointed, it's the fact that the opening of the tube is too wide, so you basically get ALL the product on the brush. Clumpy spider lashes anyone? It's a shame because once you take off the excess product, it's a decent mascara. As for the eyelash curler, I don't know if it's me, but they never seem to do anything for me. To be fair my eyelashes have a slight curl to them anyway, so I never really felt like I needed an eyelash curler. How about you?

Have you tried any of these products or would you like to try any of them? Let me know in the comments!

The Luxe Buy - By Terry Ombre Blackstar

Hiya lovelies!

I hope you're all well? As I tweeted earlier, I'm trying to overcome the bloggers block I've had for the past few months. I went on holiday last week which really helped me relax and take my mind off things, so now I'm snuggled up in bed with a cuppa and a fluffy blanket ready to present to you one of my favourite high end products to date - the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow stick in Blonde Opal.

You might know I'm partial to a good eyeshadow stick, they are just so easy to use! I've been blogging for a good four years now and during this time I've tried my fair share of eyeshadow sticks, but none of them compared to this little gem. At £28 a pop these are anything but cheap, but as much as I love my high street makeup, I do believe you get what you pay for. The formula is super smooth and soft, easy to blend and once applied, it doesn't budge. I went for the lightest shade, a silvery champagne, which can be used all over the lid or as a highlight in the inner corners. It blends like a dream and the colour can be built up from sheer to opaque. Now, I know the packaging of a product doesn't really matter but boy, does this look lush. The sleek golden pen makes me want to leave it on my dressing table for everyone to see rather than putting it back in a drawer, it's that chic! Obviously, I already have my eye on three other shades... If they sound right up your street but you can't or don't want to fork out £28, I suggest you check out the Kiko eyeshadow sticks, which are a great high street alternative!

Have you tried the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadows? Have you tried anything else by By Terry? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Kiko Cosmetics Haul and Review

Skinny Fit Kajal 01 Intonation Shell, Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow 28 Bright Ivory, Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow 05 Rosy Brown, Cheeky Colour Creamy Blush 03 Strawberry Pink

Sun Lovers Blush 04 Atlantic Camellia (bronzer&blush), Rock Attraction Blush 04 Pop Apricot, Glow Touch Lips&Cheeks 101 Venus Pink

Hiya lovelies, I hope you're all fine and dandy!

After weeks of absence from the blogging world I have a little Kiko cosmetics haul and review for you today. Kiko hasn't been around that long in the UK but it's quite popular amongst beauty bloggers already. I've known the brand for a while now and I've always been a fan of their humongous nail varnish and eyeshadow range, the latter of which is similar to MAC's. I haven't bought anything from them in years, so last month I decided to give their new products and limited collections a try. I got two of their eyeshadow sticks, a) because I've been loving eyeshadow sticks lately, and b) because Adrienne blogged about them and said they were similar to the By Terry Ombre Blackstar which I love, so who am I to say no? I also got a bright pink cream blush, a baked blusher duo from their Life In Rio collection, as well as a nude eye pencil, peach blusher and lip and cheek gloss from the Boulevard Rock collection. I probably didn't need another blusher, let alone four, but how could I say no with so many different textures to choose from? The packaging of their limited collections always looks stunning and the quality of their products is in no way inferior to the likes of MAC or Sleek. Price-wise I'd say it's in between both brands, which makes it really affordable. My top picks are the baked blusher duo and the eyeshadow crayons, they're really pigmented (as are all of the products I've tried from them so far) and long-lasting, and the colours are oh so pretty. Just how gorgeous is the brown eyeshadow stick? It also lasts a good eight hours without creasing and it's safe to say I'm obsessed. The creamy beige one makes for a great base shade, although it also looks nice when worn on its own due to the subtle golden shimmer. The lip and cheek gloss is too sticky to be used as a blush, but looks gorgeous on the lips. All of the cream products are easily blendable and don't go patchy or streaky during the day - I really can't find a single fault with the products I got!

Have you tried anything from Kiko? Do you prefer powder or cream products?

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector - Topaz

Hiya lovelies! I hope you are all well and enjoyed this gloriously sunny weekend!

At this time of year I am always drawn to the more dewy, glow-giving products in my collection to try and achieve a 'I've just been on holiday' kind of look. I've been a massive fan of liquid illuminators for a couple of years now and I am currently lusting after the NARS ones, especially Copacabana, as a lot of fellow bloggers seem to be loving it at the minute. However, the product I want to talk about today is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in the shade Topaz of which Adrienne kindly sent me a mini version to try out. Seeing as Topaz is the darkest shade out of four I was a bit worried it wouldn't go with my pale skin, but oh my god, it's amazing. Don't let the dark colour of the bottle put you off, because it's actually a lovely champagne shade as you can see in the bottom picture. But it's not just the colour I fell in love with, it also has an SPF of 25 and contains a bunch of nourishing ingredients like avocado oil and witch hazel. It glides on effortlessly and gives the most gorgeous glowy finish without feeling greasy or heavy on the skin. I usually mix this in with my foundation but you could use it as a liquid highlighter as well. Some illuminators can be a bit too shimmery or even glittery, whereas the Becca Skin Perfector gives you that lit from within look. It is a little pricey at £33 for 50ml but a little goes a long way and I think I have to repurchase the full size when I run out eventually.

Have you tried the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector? What is your favourit liquid highlighter?

Wet n Wild - Eyeshadow Trio & Megalast Lipstick

Hi lovelies!

If you're following on Instagram (which you should, because..well there's no real reason, I'd just love for you to follow me) you might know my mum and dad got me a few exciting goodies including the two Wet n Wild products I'm going to review for you today. One of them is the Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in Walking On Eggshells, a lovely trio of neutral shades. In case you haven't seen their little palettes before, the shades are embossed with browbone, crease and eyelid so even if you're not a pro, this makes applying eyeshadow easy peasy lemon squeezy! It also comes with two little applicators, one of them being a little brush which I think is remarkable considering the low price point of their products, and although I won't use them I think it's a nice touch. The packaging, albeit not the most beautiful, is really sturdy and don't even let me get started on the shades! They. Are. Amazing. They are so soft and, dare I say it, buttery not to mention the pigmentation! I am absolutely smitten. I do love my Urban Decay and MAC eye shadows but these are right up there with the more expensive ones in terms of quality. The shades are stunning as well, they have the loveliest sheen to them and look great in combination. If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out!

The second product my parents got me was the Megalast Lip Color in the shade Just Peachy. I already had one of these before (a dupe for the Nicki Minaj for MAC lipstick called Pinkerbell) and knew they aren't the creamiest lipsticks out there, in fact they are not creamy at all. However, they are really pigmented and don't dry out my lips, although they are matte. I would recommend exfoliating your lips before putting this on though, because it will cling to dry patches. It's not the easiest to apply and the packaging is a bit flimsy but they are worth it, especially for the price! If you get the chance, I'd definitely recommend snapping up a couple of their products.

Have you tried Wet n Wild before? Do you have any favourites?

Soap&Glory Sunday #13 - Sexy Motherpucker XL Extreme-Plump

Am I the only one who thinks lip plumpers are pointless? I am yet to find one that actually plumps my lips, and trust me, I could do with fuller lips. The Soap&Glory Sexy Motherpucker range (loving the cheeky name) is quite popular. I have tried the original version which came with one of the big Christmas gift sets a couple of years ago and didn't get on with it too well. It changed in colour and looked all gross and orangey, so I binned it. It wasn't until last Christmas ("I gave you my heart.." - can't help it, sorry) that I got another one of these, because once again, it was part of their gift set. The Sexy Motherpucker XL comes in a squeezy tube rather than with a doe foot applicator and claims to plump your lips even more than its little sister. It's a thick pink gloss which goes on clear, unless you apply ridiculous amounts. And yes, it does tingle. A lot. And no, it's not overly sticky. It also smells really nice and I do like and use this product every now and then but, the plumping effect just isn't noticeable. To be honest, I think we just pout a little more whenever we're applying a plumping gloss. But that may as well just be me being weird. Anyway, there's not much more to say about this product really. I feel like all I have done so far is slate lip plumpers, but don't get me wrong, the packaging, scent, and texture of this are lovely. I probably won't repurchase this though, seeing as this tube is going to last me a while anyway. If you like plumping glosses, this one is probably amazing (I refuse to think anything else of Soap&Glory*) but I'm just not into them.

How do you feel about plumping glosses? Have you found one that actually works?

*although my reviews are always a 100% honest! I'd never recommend a product I don't like!

L'Oreal Rouge Caresse 303 Coral&Floral

Hiya lovelies! Today I'm back with a lipstick review (surpriiise!). The L'oreal Rouge Caresse has caused quite a stir in the blogging world last year and I have raved about my favourite shade Dating Coral quite a lot. It even got its own review, which you can take a peek at here. Coral&Floral, the shade we're talking today, is kind of an amped up version of Dating Coral. It's part of their Coeur De Perle range (what a snazzy name!) which is basically the orignal Rouge Caresse lipstick except it has a shimmery core to glam things up a little. The shade Coral&Floral is a pinky coral shade and it would be an understatement to say the amount of shimmer in this is subtle, because it's not. It's almost glittery, but not gritty, so it is perfect to wear on a night out or, if you just fancy wearing a super shimmery lipstick. It glides on just as smoothly as the original range and it isn't drying at all. I also really like the packaging. As opposed to the clear plastic packaging from the original range, the pearl range tubes are slightly pink toned, and anything pink is a winner in my books. Another thing I love about the Rouge Caresse lipsticks is that although they are so creamy and moisturising, they last a good couple of hours. They are not exactly staining your lips, they are just decently pigmented. They also smell amazing! The scent is one of the most important things to me when it comes to makeup, no one likes chemical smelling products, do they? A lovely scent always wins me over in no time. There's not much else to say really, other than you are missing out if you haven't tried at least one of their shades. I just wish they'd bring out new limited edition shades every now and then! The Rouge Caresse Coeur de Perle lipsticks are £7.99 each and come in four gorgeous shades.

Have you tried the Rouge Caresse range yet? What's your favourite shade?

17 Phwoarr Paint

After reviewing the The Balm TimeBalm concealer earlier this month, I thought today I'd share my thoughts on the 17 Phwoarr Paint I picked up in my latest Boots haul. The reason I bought this was that Zoella mentioned it either in one of her videos or on Twitter, so I obviously had to try it. Anything that's good enough for her, is good enough for me! But, let's move on to the concealer. The Phwoarr Paint claims to be a heavy duty under eye concealer and comes in a mere two shades, fair and medium. Luckily, fair looks just about right on my NC20-25 skin, although I always use a brightening concealer on top when putting this under my eyes, since it's not brightenig on its own. A few more shades would be brilliant, 17!

Now that being said, I prefer using this around my nose and chin or to conceal any blemishes, rather than my dark undereye circles, as it creases quite easily. I'd like to point out, though, that I still haven't found a concealer which doesn't crease on me, god knows why, so this doesn't mean the Phwoarr Paint is a bad concealer! The coverage and staying power are great and it's also a lot creamier than the TimeBalm. With a moisturised and plump under eye area it would probably work a lot better.

My verdict - great if you're on a budget, for £5.49 you get a high coverage concealer with great staying power. 17 is available to buy in Boots.

Have you tried this concealer? What is your favourite under eye concealer?

Soap&Glory Sunday #12 - Face Powders

Glow All Out - Peach Party

Hiya lovelies, hope you're all enjoying your weekend! I've been meaning to write today's Soap&Glory Sunday for such a long time now, as I hardly ever talk about their makeup range on here. I absolutely adore every single makeup item I have tried from them, albeit not having tried as much as I have from their bath and body range. Today's post is about a couple of their face powders, namely the One Heck Of A Blot mattifying powder, Peach Party blusher and Glow All Out highlighter. Brace yourselves for an(other) ode to Soap&Glory!

One Heck Of A Blot - £12 - a translucent powder which helps keep shine at bay. The sturdy plastic packaging is perfect for touch ups on the go, as it comes with a mirror in the lid. I also think that the embossed print and vintage packaging make it look a lot more expensive than it actually is. Performance-wise it definitely lives up to its claims, for me anyway. But then again, my skin isn't overly oily, so I can't comment on how it performs on oilier skin types. The powder is finely milled and a light dusting all over the face does the trick - don't overdo it as it will go cakey! This being said, there are cheaper alternatives out there which are just as good (e.g. Rimmel Stay Matte powder) but the Soap&Glory packaging is just too pretty to pass up, plus, it's a lot more travel friendly as you don't have to worry about losing the lid!

Peach Party - £11 - is a blush brick which means it's more of a hard pressed powder as opposed to a lightly pressed powder such as One Heck Of A Blot - if that makes any sense. It takes a bit of elbow grease to get a decent amount of product onto your brush, since this isn't as pigmented as it looks in the pan. As you can see it's made up of four different shades which mix together to create a peachy golden shade. I do quite like this blusher and it looks lovely during the warmer months - although the shade is a bit too tan/golden for my liking, so I tend to use this on top of other blushers to really make the shade pop. Peach Party might be a good dupe for the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks..I might have to investigate! Solely for blogging purposes of course.

Glow All Out - £11 - this is by far my favourite out of the bunch, although it comes in a cardboard packaging. This highlighter, or luminiser as Soap&Glory like to call it, has the most gorgeous pinky champagne colour. It's SO soft, it almost feels like a cream highlighter and out of all the highlighters I've tried so far (I've tried a LOT!) this has to be my absolute favourite. It doesn't contain any glitter or even shimmer, it just gives the most amazing glow to the skin. The pictures above don't do it justice! I could go on about how beautiful this is for hours, but I guess you have got better things to do, haven't you? Then all that is left for me to say is, get your derrière down to Boots - these gems are on 3 for 2 at the minute!

Have you tried any of the Soap&Glory face powders? Which one is your favourite?
