Collective Haul Pt.1 - Clothes&Accessories [Primark, H&M]

Hiya lovelies!

First of all, sorry for the pic spam. I've promised you a haul post about two weeks ago but couldn't manage to schedule any posts before I went on holiday. Haul posts are some of my favourite posts to read and write and I've been looking forward to sharing my bargain buys with you guys. My best friend and I obviously went to Primark [and a few other places as well] who have some lovely things in at the moment. Turns out I've bought so much I've had to split this post into two parts, the first being clothes and accessoires.

I'll start with what I got from Primark, they had the most amazing things in their sale section and luckily there weren't just sizes 16 and 18 left. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with these sizes, they just don't fit me. I picked up two lovely light blue chiffon vests for £2 each, I love the bow in the front! One of them is see-through so I'll wear another vest underneath. I also bought some striped leggings which are the comfiest pyjama bottoms of all time. I love the design which reminds me a lot of the Gilly Hicks leggings and they were only £2 as well. My sister got the sparkly jumper last month and I knew I had to have it too. It has little rose gold studs all over which make it look super sparkly and festive! As I love anything sparkly I had to get the parka as well. I've been looking for a parka for ages and this one has sequined sleeves, what's not to love? Since I usually wear the most boring, monochrome clothes I thought I'd go for something more fancy this time so I got this cute navy coloured shirt with little boats all over. It looks lovely worn underneath a jumper. The black skull/floral print dress was about £3, I've started wearing dresses a lot this year and this one is so pretty, I love the zip pockets! Last but not least I got my first denim shirt, I'm just not sure how to style it yet.

That's it for clothes. I also bought some jar candles which smell divine, if you're following me on Instagram you might have already seen them. The large one was £1, such a bargain! I loved it so much that I went back for more but they only had the small ones left so I got some of these. I then got a six piece bracelet and earring set which I thought looked really cute, I love the teeny tiny pendants! You know how they keep luring you into buying things you usually wouldn't at the till, that's where I got their strawberry scented anti bacterial hand gel, which I actually really like.

We then went into H&M as I was looking for a winter jacket. This one ticks all the boxes for me! It has a hood with fake fur trim, a waist belt and it covers my derrière. Depending on the lighting it looks either black or olive which I really like. This was only £30!

Phew! That was a long one, pat on the back if you've made it through the whole post haha. Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed the first part of my haul!

Collective Haul - Primark and H&M

Hiya lovelies!

Hope you all had a great week so far! My work experience started on monday so please excuse the lack of posts over the next couple of weeks. Being a student is so much easier than actually having to work haha. Anyway, seeing as I was looking for summery clothes [I wasn't prepared for this heat!] I went shopping with my sister last week. I usually spot the loveliest clothes when I'm skint but this time I have actually been lucky and snapped up a couple of bargains! We went to Primark [which took us a good five hours as my sister took her baby boy with her] and The Body Shop, I'll be reviewing my TBS purchase in a seperate post though. So without further ado here's what I bought! [Please excuse the shoddy pictures as well]

Tie dye jumper - as soon as I spotted this little pastel jumper I knew I had to have it. This goes so well with my light pink shorts and any pair of trousers really. This was the biggest bargain at £4! Got to love the Primark sale.

Light blue dress - just how cute is this? I love that it comes with a dark brown waist belt, I usually don't like the belts that come with dresses as they tend to look tacky but this one looks lovely and goes really well with the colour of the dress. This was £7.

This is not as orange as it is in those pictures, it's more coral toned in real life!
Coral day dress - there were four different colours to choose from, white, black, grey and coral. I usually opt for the first three colours when it comes to clothes but this time I wanted to make sure I won't buy anything too boring so I went for the coral one! It has little round studs on the shoulders and a zip in the back which I thought looked really cute and it's super comfy as well! Again, bargain alert at just £3.50!

Floral dress - I've been raving about this dress on Twitter already, it's one of the most gorgeous dresses I've ever seen [and owned]. Can you believe this is actually from Primarni? Me neither. The dress was around £17 if I remember correctly which seems quite steep for Primark but it really is a gorgeous dress and worth more than that. Love the cut-outs in the front and back, you can still wear a bra and it won't show!

Jim jams - You can't go into Primark without buying at least one pyjama. Well I got three, love me a cosy pyjama haha. I got one of their sets with an owl on it because who doesn't love owls?! I also got two pyjama bottoms, one with pastel coloured roses on it and another one with watches, bows and keys on it which reminded me a lot of Alice in Wonderland, so I obviously had to get these as well.

Underwear&Socks - I know opinions differ on this question but I'm not showing you pictures of me wearing these bras and pants am I. I just loved the cute pastel colours and they were only 50p each! The bras were £2 each as were the socks.

Purse - I've been looking for a plain black purse for ages! This one is just perfect and doesn't look as cheap as most Primark purses. It's the perfect size for those days I'm not at uni and don't have to carry around a lot with me.

I then went to H&M with my parents the day after that because mum insisted on buying me new clothes for work as she said I couldn't go to work wearing pink hot pants. She's probably right so I got some grey shorts as well as some pink striped ones. She also bought me a blue and white tie dye high waist skirt which I think is really cute and a light pink dress which I won't wear to work but loved so much I had to have it haha. Thanks mum :) ♥ I might even try and post an OOTD some time soon please bare with me as I'm not a fashion blogger ;) Hope you enjoyed this post though!

So that's everything I bought last week, what do you guys think? :)

My NYE outfit + FOTD

Such a witty title, init.

My lovelies,
I know I know, I'm a tad late but I'm wishing everyone a happy new year! Hope it's going to be an amazing one for all of you! :)

The weather has been awful recently so I haven't been able to take decent photos and like I mentioned on Twitter already I can't stand half-hearted posts including blurry pictures. The pictures I took still aren't great but I really wanted to show you what I wore on New Years Eve though, including my FOTD [well just an attempt of it]. The rest of this post is just me waffling a bit, hope you don't mind!

My foundation seems darker than the rest of my skin, promise you it isn't! Blame the lighting ha.
World's worst photographer boo!
When I started blogging I thought DSLRs were so overrated but as time went on I completely changed my mind. It doesn't have to be a DSLR though, but a good an expensive camera is a must if you want to make progress with your blog in my opinion. I may ask for one for my birthday so I don't have to use the one on my phone anymore which doesn't take proper pictures when it's not exactly sunny outside!

Anywho, on to my 'outfit' which isn't as amazing as some of those I've seen in different posts already, it's actually quite plain like most of my outfits. I've been wearing black tights and a slightly ruffled, hot pink/coral tube dress paired with a black blazer which turned out navy in the pictures, I swear it's black! Since I don't have any sewing skills it took me ages to replace the original black buttons with some golden ones but I think it does look quite impressive, doesn't it?

Now on to the makeup, unfortunately the pictures don't do the look justice. I applied some nude lipgloss after taking the pictures above which didn't last long as I had a cheeky glass of bubbly or fifty to be honest. I'm not at all content with the last two pictures, those were the only ones which showed my makeup rather properly though. That one strand in the front is bothering me to no end! I don't take pictures of myself that often so this was actually the first time I noticed my blusher wouldn't show up in pictures at all but figured it was silly to add more for the picture as it actually did show up. Being the absentminded person that I am I also forgot to take pictures of the products I've used so I'll just list them in case you're interested.

products used:

primer: Benefit That Gal
foundation: Rimmel Wake Me Up in 200 soft beige mixed with Rimmel Match Perfection in 200 soft beige, strangely enough Match Perfection is a bit darker than the other one although it's supposed to be the same shade!
setting powder: Manhattan Soft Mat Loose Powder in 1 Natural
brows: Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in black brown
blusher: Sleek blusher in rose gold
bronzer: MUA Bronzed Perfection
highlighter: Catrice Prime&Fine Highlighting Powder
eyeshadow primer: TooFaced Shadow Insurance
eyeshadow: MUA Immaculate palette [shades 14, 22] + Undressed palette [shades 2, 3, 6, 12] - swatches of both palettes can be found here
mascara: Essence Get Big Lashes Volume Curl
[lipgloss: Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Max]

I also wore Models Own Pink Fizz on my nails, which I didn't take a picture of as I'm sure everyone who hasn't been hiding under a rock knows what it looks like! And that's pretty much it. Please excuse the quality of these pictures, the perfectionist in me is cringing but I couldn't go one more day without blogging ha! Hope you'll have a good week and enjoyed reading dolls! Link me up to your NYE posts!

Primark haul

Hey everyone! Can't believe it's November already, hope you all had a great Halloween! I spent mine with just a few mates as I still felt a bit poorly but I think I'm over it now. I also missed the last #bbloggers chats which did make me a bit sad to be honest haha it's almost become a must over the past few months, it's incredible how many lovely people I've met through the chat :) Hope to take part again this sunday.

I'm a bit late with showing you what I got in Primarni last month but I think most of the items are still available. I spent a small fortune considering it's Primark but I just couldn't resist the fleecy jim jams and fluffy slippers, apart from this I just like spending money. The pictures I took are horrible I know! I've never done a clothes haul before so still need to figure out how to place everything properly, maybe it's best to hang them up but I was in a bit of a rush so didn't really think about it. So without further ado, here's what I got.

cream coloured knitted waistcoat
When I popped this into one of their ridicolously huge shopping bags I wouldn't of thought I'd love it as much as I do now. It's so comfy, love the fur lined hood and I also love how the cream colour goes with almost anything, think black, white, burgundy, navy. I think this was about a tenner, what a bargain!

Next is this knitted cardigan in dusky pink, it looks huge in the picture but it's just loosely fitted and so cosy! Love the fake horn buttons and it initially had enormous pompoms attached to the drawstrings which I cut off because they looked rather ridiculous.

Next is a dark grey cardigan with a rounded hem, I like it because it's quite long and perfect to throw on over any kind of vest top or longsleeve paired with good ol' leggings. I got the same cardigan in a sandy colour as well which you can see below and this is the one I got when I went to exchange a pair of skinnies which went all baggy after wearing them for a day. Worst quality ever let me tell you! I'm yet to find an affordable pair of jeans, so if you have any suggestions do let me know please :)

cream coloured longsleeves are a staple in my wardrobe, couldn't be bothered to iron it before taking the pictures sorry!

This has to be my favourite blouse ever! I just couldn't resist the beaded collar and pale pink lace, it's also one of the poshest piece of clothing I own as I tend to go for plain and simple clothes most of the time.

Fluffy slippers, over knee socks with bows and a pale pink snood, all of these items have been on my wishlist for about a year but I never got around to pick them up until now! :) I think these were about £2 each so you can't go wrong.

This is the fluffiest pyjama ever, seriously I know everyone loves their onesies but if you don't own this one already, what are you waiting for? I've always been freezing at night so this is a winner. Plus I absolutely adore the leopard print trousers and bow, cutesy cute!

No Primark haul is complete without picking up something from their beauty department, I've spotted this set of four metallic nail polishes a while ago already but thought I wouldn't need it which is obviously bollocks, of course I need my 100th bottle of nail polish! For about £1.50 you get 4 mini bottles, one greenish-purple duochrome and three metallic polishes in gold, pink and blue which are so so pretty! Can't go wrong with these.

Did you spot anything you like? What did you get from Primark lately? Share your hauls in the comments if you like! :)

Wishlist A/W

Hello ladies :)

To begin with, welcome to my new followers! I'm so happy to see people do actually like my blog though I haven't posted much yet! Thanks you lovely lot :) I usually start loads of posts with apologies because I haven't gotten around to post something but after sunday's #bbloggers chat [can you tell I'm obsessed already?] I've kind of learned to just blog whenever I feel like blogging and whenever I find the time because I'm pretty busy most of the time and felt bad about that. Also got loads of great advice on time management so if you missed the last chat for some reason and need some tips you can find a summary on the #bbloggers blog.

I've tried to create my first set ever on Polyvore today because I really wanted to create a collage of some key pieces I need to purchase for autumn/winter this year. My wardrobe is bursting with shorts and cropped shirts which is nice without doubt but not really useful now that the days are getting colder especially as I'm almost always freezing. Looking forward to autumn though because I can finally dig out my muddy nail polish shades again :) Alrighty enough talk let's look at what I've gathered up!

I do love cheerful colours you see ;) Well it's time to confess that I'm not very adventurous regarding my choice of clothes, I'm feeling comfortable wearing plain and earthy colours most of the time with the only eception being my nails which are always sporting the weirdest colours hehee.

1. Waistcoat - H&M - I've been looking for a fake fur waistcoat for ages but anytime I've seen one the colour didn't seem pretty enough, it didn't fit properly or it's been way too expensive. This one from H&M is very reasonably priced [around £25] and I hope to find it in one of their stores since the shipping costs are ridiculous when ordering online and it always takes them ages to ship your order!
2. Vest - Even&Odd - I'm a sucker for plain vests and basics in general moreover I'm in love with the nifty print :) I also enjoy silhouettes of trees and branches on literally anything god only knows why! Have to look for a cheaper alternative still as this is around the £30 mark but this collage is more of an inspiration anyway to see what I'd like to wear after all.
3. Ear Studs - Marc Jacobs - Jewellery is something I only get out on special occasions like a night out, birthday parties something like this. I do however like to wear plain ear studs everyday because I think this makes my face look complete somehow haha. The ones I've put in the collage are by Marc Jacobs and have his name written on them circularly which already make them a winner in my book ;)
4. Cable knit snood - John Lewis - Everyone loves a knitted anything I guess and snoods are just so comfy! I prefer them over scarfs as well since the ends are bugging somehow. I know how dull that must sound to you but I'm annoyed easily ;) Loving the creamy colour!
5. Gloves - Auclair - Same goes for gloves, gotta love knitted ones! What I like about these is that they're a little longer than usual to keep your wrists warm as well!
6. Boots - Ugg Australia - This is the parting of the ways and has been for years. I have to admit I've literally been living in my Uggs for the past three winters and to top it all of I do love their appearance! Being the girly girl  I am I'd love to get my hands on the sequinned version of them but I'm not yet ready to fork out a stupid amount of money so I'll stick with my chestnut 'coloured' ones ;)
7. Suede Boots - Mango - I already have about three or four similar pairs but a girl can't ever have enough boots right? As I'm quite tall I usually go for flat shoes and I also think the buckles are so pretty!
8. Sweater - Gina Tricot - Off-the-shoulder tops are a recent favourite of mine I dont even know what it is that I love so much about them I guess it's the way they accent your collarbones lol. You can't see it in the picture but this particular one from Gina Tricot [are there any stores in the UK? I've discovered them in Germany and love their range!] is knitted which you probably can't see in the picture but it looks really cosy to me :)
9. Jeans - Topshop - This was more of a spontaneous addition as I usually wear black tights/leggings or plain skinny jeans. I haven't owned any coloured jeans for as long as I can remember! I do like the autumnal colour though and think it would match almost any other colour in my wardrobe so I might keep my eyes peeled for a similar pair or I might as well order it from Topshop for £38 which is fair enough.
10. Leather jacket - Muubaa - This would definitely be an autumnal piece of clothing for me because it wouldnt keep me warm enough in winter but I absolutely adore the wide collar! Had to gasp seeing the price tag though because this is about £250! No chance I would spend that much on a 'between seasons' jacket.
11. Bag - Secret Pon-Pon - I've recently purchased a pink/tan coloured purse from Gina Tricot which is the first colourful bag in my collection and will remain the only one it seems. I'm such a sucker for brown/beige/tan/cream coloured bags!
12. Studded Slipper - Zara - I've seen almost every girl in Germany wearing these and I think they are so fancy! Think Topshop has identical ones as well. I have to get these before they sell out soon but there was always something getting in the way [which means I like to spend all the money I've got on silly amounts of makeup]. Studs are one of the biggest trends in fashion this year and still I dont own anything with studs on it get a load of this! This needs to change :)

Alright ladies, we did it! This was one long post, please excuse my chattiness!

What do you think of the items I've picked? Would you buy anything from my wishlist or do you already own some of the things pictured?
