Yet another little Lush haul

You're probably sick of seeing these posts by now, as everyone seems to be doing them at the minute but, I couldn't resist a little haul when I visited my local Lush store and spotted all of their beautiful Halloween-y/Christmas-y products piled on top of each other. Bath bombs are a girl's best friend around this time of year, because nothing beats a Lush bath on a cold and rainy day, right?
But without further ado, here's what I got:

Northern Lights £3.50
(which fills your bath with loads of teeny tiny stars, super pretty!)
Dashing Santa £2.95
Father Christmas £3.50
Granny Takes A Dip £3.35
(which has a sweet fruity scent and is probably one of the most colourful bath bombs out there!)
Wizard £3.25

Please excuse the shortness of this post but you know, there's only so much you can say about bath bombs. They smell ah-mazing and make your bath look pretty! What I can say though is that the ones I tried so far (Granny Takes a Dip and Northern Lights) smell incredible and are worth giving a go. I for one know I'll be stocking up on these next time I'm in Lush. Apart from the bath bombs in this haul I'd also recommend the Luxury Lush Pud, Cinders, Christmas Eve and, of course, their infamous Snow Fairy shower gel, which smells sickly sweet but oh so delicious. I still have a bottle left from last year, otherwise I'd have stocked up already.

Did you get anything from Lush lately? Has anything caught your eye?

Zoella Beauty

If you're anything like me, you'll be super excited about today's post. I'm finally putting in my two cents on Zoe's gorgeous new beauty range Zoella Beauty!

Those of you who are following my blog, Twitter or Insta will know I'm such a fan girl it's embarrassing. You're probably sick of people gushing over her, but she's such an inspiration to me. I started following her blog back in 2009 and it's incredible how far she has come..but let's focus on the products, otherwise I'll be sitting here all night. I obviously placed an order right after her line launched on FeelUnique and, different to what I'm used to, my parcel was with me within four days. There have been times I've been waiting just over six weeks, but that's a whole new ball game.. The first thing I noticed about Zoe's range was that everything is really affordable. The makeup bags and body mist are £8 each, the bath soak, fizz bar, body lotion, and candle are a fiver each. I for one could not resist the pink makeup bag, it has polka dots and a nerdy guinea pig on it, which I think is adorable. My order arrived the day before I went on holiday earlier this month, so I've put it to the test already and I can confirm that this little bag holds A LOT of makeup. I managed to squeeze in three foundations, 12 lipsticks, powders, eyeshadows and blushes galore. I never owned a makeup bag which held half of my collection before, so I'm quite chuffed with that.

I also got the Soak Opera bath soak and Blissful Mistful body mist to see whether I liked the scent, and I do really like it, it's a very fresh, slightly floral kind of scent; it just doesn't blow me away. I somehow expected it to become my new favourite scent, which is really silly thinking about it now, haha! The packaging is gorgeous though and it sits nicely on my new dressing table. It's very girly and I love the lace and polka dot design. I'm excited to try the rest of her range now, as I really like the products I got!

Did you get any of her products? What are your thoughts on 'YouTube celebrities' launching their own beauty/clothing ranges?

Kiko Cosmetics Haul and Review

Skinny Fit Kajal 01 Intonation Shell, Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow 28 Bright Ivory, Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow 05 Rosy Brown, Cheeky Colour Creamy Blush 03 Strawberry Pink

Sun Lovers Blush 04 Atlantic Camellia (bronzer&blush), Rock Attraction Blush 04 Pop Apricot, Glow Touch Lips&Cheeks 101 Venus Pink

Hiya lovelies, I hope you're all fine and dandy!

After weeks of absence from the blogging world I have a little Kiko cosmetics haul and review for you today. Kiko hasn't been around that long in the UK but it's quite popular amongst beauty bloggers already. I've known the brand for a while now and I've always been a fan of their humongous nail varnish and eyeshadow range, the latter of which is similar to MAC's. I haven't bought anything from them in years, so last month I decided to give their new products and limited collections a try. I got two of their eyeshadow sticks, a) because I've been loving eyeshadow sticks lately, and b) because Adrienne blogged about them and said they were similar to the By Terry Ombre Blackstar which I love, so who am I to say no? I also got a bright pink cream blush, a baked blusher duo from their Life In Rio collection, as well as a nude eye pencil, peach blusher and lip and cheek gloss from the Boulevard Rock collection. I probably didn't need another blusher, let alone four, but how could I say no with so many different textures to choose from? The packaging of their limited collections always looks stunning and the quality of their products is in no way inferior to the likes of MAC or Sleek. Price-wise I'd say it's in between both brands, which makes it really affordable. My top picks are the baked blusher duo and the eyeshadow crayons, they're really pigmented (as are all of the products I've tried from them so far) and long-lasting, and the colours are oh so pretty. Just how gorgeous is the brown eyeshadow stick? It also lasts a good eight hours without creasing and it's safe to say I'm obsessed. The creamy beige one makes for a great base shade, although it also looks nice when worn on its own due to the subtle golden shimmer. The lip and cheek gloss is too sticky to be used as a blush, but looks gorgeous on the lips. All of the cream products are easily blendable and don't go patchy or streaky during the day - I really can't find a single fault with the products I got!

Have you tried anything from Kiko? Do you prefer powder or cream products?

What I got for my birthday & Collective Haul May 2014 feat. Neom, Zoeva, RT..

Hiya lovelies! I hope you're all well. This week has been quite stressful, hence the lack of posts and my absence on Twitter over the past week. I really wanted to write this post as soon as possible though, just because hauls and birthday posts are some of my favourite posts to read and write, so if you're a nosey parker like me, this one's for you! I'd also like to take a second (or line, for that matter) to thank you for all the lovely birthday tweets and messages, you guys are the best and made my birthday even more special :) However, I feel like these posts need a little disclaimer since they're not everyone's cup of tea. Showing off is not the purpose of this post, I am really blessed and grateful and I'm not saying this because I think I have to!

This is a mixture of both birthday presents and stuff I treated myself to this month. Please excuse the shoddy picture, I just couldn't get it right! Anyway, I'll start with my lovely birthday presents, my nan got me two of these adorable red and white mugs from Lexington Company, which is my favourite homeware brand. I love me a pretty mug, it is what it is. She also got me the Neom Real Luxury bath oil I spotted in TKMaxx the other week but didn't buy (which I regretted once I got home..bless her). The Zoeva bag in the front actually holds their rose gold brush collection, which I have been eying up for ages, and this was a gift from my parents, along with a foldable mirror which is great for travelling. I also received a Baylis&Harding hand wash and lotion duo in Strawberries&Cream, which smells amazing and my dad also got me an electric toothbrush because I asked for one. Can you tell I'm getting old, being excited for an electric toothbrush..

On to the stuff I treated myself to - as you might know, FeelUnique have come up with this amazing offer called #UniqueTreats, where they have a special offer every day for the month of May. I snapped up the Real Techniques Sam's Picks set for a mere £15 which made it half price, how could I resist? They also had a tenner off the Urban Decay Naked palettes, so I decided to complete my collection and ordered the Naked 2. I then also had a 20% off code for HQ Hair so I got some more RT brushes - the retractable Kabuki brush, the stippling brush, the foundation brush and their Miracle Complexion sponge. What can I say, I am obsessed! They are easily some of the best (and affordable) makeup brushes. I also really wanted to try some Elemis products so I ordered their Balancing Radiance Collection, and so far I'm impressed. Last but not least I treated myself to the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow stick in the shade Blond Opal.

I'm going to review most of the products mentioned individually, so I'm not giving anything away just yet. Do let me know if there's anything you are particularly interested in and I'll try and get the reviews up asap. As always, I hope you enjoyed reading, please feel free to leave the links to your recent haul posts or videos in the comment section below!

Boots 3 for 2 Haul

Hiya lovelies!

Hands up who else can't resist picking up one or nine things when Boots' 3 for 2 offer is on? It's always such a hard task trying to resist, isn't it? This time I placed an online order since two products I've been after for a while now came back into stock, namely the Models Own Fruity Pastels nail varnish in Strawberry Tart and the Bourjois ColourBoost lip crayon in Peach On The Beach. I'm going to do separate reviews of everything in this haul, let me know in the comments if there is anything you're particularly interested in. I also bought two of the Revlon Matte Balms in the shades Elusive and Unapologetic, which I'm going to review on Friday. And as if three lip products weren't enough, I also got the L'oreal Collection Privée lipstick in Julianne's nude. I've got one of these already and love it, so I knew I had to get another one.

Another thing I tend to stock up on when the 3 for 2 offer is on is foundation. It took me ages but I finally bought the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation as well as Revlon Nearly Naked, both of which were recommended to me during various bbloggers chats. For good measure I also decided to order the 17 Phwoarr Paint concealer a lot of bloggers are raving about. A girl can never have enough concealer, right? Last but not least I got the Boots Botanicals brightening toner, just because I'm obsessed with toners and I love the look of the Botanicals range. I'll let you know how I get on with it soon!

What have you picked up in Boots recently?

A little Lush haul

Hiya lovelies!

Today's haul is the last one for a while, promise! I do love haul posts, that's for sure, but to be honest I can't wait to continue with some of the blog series I started last year, such as Soap&Glory Sunday and monthly favourites. I'm sure most of you have taken advantage of the post Christmas sales offers, especially those at Lush. I have to say as much as I love Lush, I wouldn't dream of picking up a bath bomb for £6, but with 50% off I'll take them all, thanks! A product I just had to stock up on was the Snow Fairy shower gel. Not only does this have one of the most delicious scents ever, but the scent is also so long lasting. Also, it has glitter in it, what more could a girl possibly want?

On to the Christmas bath bombs, I picked up the humongous Secret Santa bath bomb, which apparently you can use three times, since there's another bath bomb hidden inside. I also got the Luxury Lush Pud, which smells divine, Bombardino, Cinders and the Christmas Eve bubble bar. Everything else I planned on buying in the sales was out of stock, boo-hoo! When I posted my last Lush haul sometime last year, loads of people seemed surprised that you can actually get samples with your purchase. Again, just ask the sale assistants and they'll be happy to give you a generous sample of your favourite soap, shampoo bar or face mask. Now since I love putting their soaps into my wardrobe (yes, you've read that right, they make your clothes smell really nice!) I decided to ask for Miranda, the light green one, Bohemian, the yellow/white one and Orange Jelly which I think was a limited edition. I also picked up a big chunk of Angel's Delight in the sale. Whether you put them in your wardrobe or drawers or actually wash your hands with them, they all smell delicious.

And that's it for hauls. This month, that is. What have you picked up from Lush recently?

Collective Haul Pt.2 - Jo Malone&Victoria's Secret

Hiya lovelies!

It's only been a week since my last post, but I already feel out of the loop with blogging! I mentioned it several times but I have a couple of deadlines coming up, so I'm neglecting my blog a bit at the minute (insert sad face). However I've been revising a lot today and thought I'd post part 2 of my humongous haul today to keep me sane.

After perusing the aisles of Boots and Superdrug (where I went cray, have a read here) I had a mooch around the Selfridges Beauty Hall, probably one of my favourite places on earth. I treated myself to my first Jo Malone fragrance, Nectarine Blossom&Honey and, guess what, I. Am. Obsessed. No surprise here. I already popped another five scents on my wishlist! Fragrance has always been one of my weaknesses and my collection is ridiculous, so please don't judge me when I tell you I've also added 5 body mists to my collection that day. When in London, there's no excuse not to pay Victoria's Secret a visit so in I went, and left with a couple of their body sprays. Albeit not long lasting, they look amazing on my dressing table, and they smell fantastic as well. And with a 5 for £30 offer on their body care range it'd be rude not to take advantage of it! The scents I chose were Such a Flirt, Strawberries&Champagne, Aqua Kiss, Pure Daydream and Pure Seduction, all of which smell lovely. If it hadn't been that crowded that day I easily could of spend hours in there admiring their lingerie and lounge wear. One day..!

I also bought a couple of things (read fragrances) from Gilly Hicks and Hollister, do let me know if you'd like to see what I got, otherwise I'll just go on with my LUSH haul. God, all I've been doing this year so far were hauls, but you probably don't mind, do you?

What are your favourite Jo Malone&Victoaria's Secret scents?

Collective Haul Pt.1 - Boots&Superdrug

Hiya lovelies!

Today's post is a haul, because we all love a good haul, don't we! My boyfriend and I went to London before Christmas and seeing as I've been paid for the first time since starting my new job I went a bit cray. I can't possibly include everything I bought in this post, so the first one's going to be a collective Superdrug and Boots haul.

I stocked up on a couple of favourites but mainly bought stuff I've had my eye on for a while. From Superdrug I got a couple of Collection concealers which are my favourites, and I also got the Maybelline FitMe concealer a lot of bloggers are raving about. Sadly the lightest shade seems to be a tad dark for my skintone in winter, it's a great concealer though. Another thing I stocked up on in Boots was my favourite hair care range Aussie, I got the Luscious Long shampoo, 3 Minute Miracle and one of the rather new Miracle Recharge sprays. The Origins GinZing moisturiser has become a staple in my skincare routine since I bought my first jar, so I had to pick up another one. I also was lucky enough to snap up the Soap&Glory Yule Monty gift set for the bargain price of £27, woohoo! The pink Jonathan Saunders bag is so much prettier than the monochrome one it came in before. I also got three Soap&Glory face powders which I'm going to review soon, as well as three skincare items. Would be rude not to take advantage of a good old 3for2 offer, don't you think?

Makeup-wise I got three Revlon lip products, a Lip Butter in Sweet Tart, a Colorburst lip gloss in Sunbaked (a horrid brown shade, must have grabbed the wrong one) and a Super Lustrous lipstick in Pink in the afternoon, as well as the Bourjois Java Rice Powder which I LOVE! Again, review coming soon. Lastly, I decided to treat myself to a new fragrance, Burberry Brit Sheer caught my eye, and it must of been fate or something, because I fell in love the moment I sniffed it. It's a floral, fresh scent and deffo a new favourite!

From Superdrug I got some cans of Batiste, three Barry M Gelly polishes, and their own brand Hot Cloth Cleanser, all of which are repurchases. The Garnier Moisture Match moisturiser has been on my wishlist for ages and I'm so glad I finally gave it a go, expect a rave review in the future! I obviously had to get some lipsticks as well so I got two Rimmel Moisture Renew ones, one from the Kate Moss range, a L'Oreal Rouge Caresse and one of the Maybelline Colour Sensational lipsticks in a lovely coral shade. From Maybelline I also got a Color Tattoo in On and on bronze.

Phew, that's quite a lot already! Hope you enjoyed reading (or at least looking at the pictures). What have you bought recently?

Blog Sale Bargains

Hiya lovelies!
You're probably excited about it being friday but seeing as I work today and tomorrow all I'm looking forward to is sunday. I'm happy for you though haha.

If you're following me on Instagram [@ohsnapbabes] you might have already seen that I bought some bargains from Stacey who runs a lovely blog called Expat Make-Up Addict. This was the first time I was buying makeup from a blog sale and I easily could have bought everything but didn't want to go too overboard. After some umming and ahhing I decided to get a Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar body lotion and two shades of the Rimmel Apocalips lip lacquers I've been lusting after a long time, Stellar and Apocaliptic. Let me tell you I couldn't be happier with these items! The body lotion smells amazing, I expected it to smell sickly sweet which is not the case at all, it actually smells similar to the Palmolive Almond Milk shower gel which I loved as a kid. It also sinks into your skin quickly and moisturises so well, my skin still feels soft the next day. I didn't expect it to be that good as their body lotions are actually quite cheap. I'd definitely purchase some more of these if I got the chance!

The two Apocalips are super lovely as well, I've reviewed Celestial before and unfortunately the shade didn't suit me but I loved the formula. I'm so glad I got these, they're super bright but really wearable and stay put for hours on end. Apocaliptic is a bright fuchsia shade whilst Stellar is more of a bright corally-red, both look gorgeous with a tan [which by now we're all faking right?] and they honestly last all day. Also, everything was unused and in tip top condition! If I remember correctly I paid about a tenner for all three items which is such a bargain considering the Apocalips are usually £6.49 each! Thanks again Stacey, I'd definitely buy from you anytime again :) x

Have you ever bought something from a blog sale? What was your biggest blog sale bargain?

Berlin - What's in My Travel makeup Bag & Mini Haul

Hiya lovelies!
As you might know by now I've been to Berlin for a week earlier this month. We stayed with my boyfriends grandparents who live just outside Berlin which was great because they obviously showed us around plus we didn't have to book a hotel. On this occasion I thought it might be fun to do a 'what's in my travel makeup bag' post. You probably do these kind of posts before you go on holiday but it just didn't occur to me before. I'll also show you the few things I bought whilst I was there, I could of spent an insane amount of money but I've been a good [skint] girl and only bought four things. Hope you enjoy this post!

I took my beloved Cheshire Cat vanity case with me for skincare, haircare etc. Instead of rambling on I'll just list the products I took with me and if you have any questions feel free to post them in the comments. Personally I love just having a nosey at people's makeup bags.

bebe more foaming cleanser, Soap&Glory No Clogs Allowed, The Body Shop cucumber toner, Soap&Glory For Daily Youth moisturiser, Garnier moisturiser, Clarins Hydra Quench sample, cotton wool pads, Taylor Swift Wonderstruck, Tangle Teezer, Treacle Moon shower gel, Kerastase shampoo&conditioner, OPI Nail Envy, OPI RapiDry, nail varnish, body moisturiser sachets, razor

I also took a seperate Soap&Glory case with me for makeup because you never know when you might need those 384 lipsticks..

Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, Rimmel Stay Matte powder, Collection concealer, MUA bronzer&highlighter, Sleek blushers in Mirrored Pink&Rose Gold, MAC paint pot, UD Naked Basics, MAC Espresso eyeshadow, Artdeco All In One mascara, RealTechniques&Kiko brushes, Topshop lipsticks in Macaroon, Whimsical and Ohh La La, MAC lipsticks in Coral Bliss and Sunny Seoul, Maybelline lipstick in Shocking Coral, MUA lipstick #1, YSL Rouge Volupte in Peach Passion and Impetious Beige

Of course I didn't need all of the lipsticks but you know I like having a choice. That's why I bought another MAC lipstick whilst I was there! I've had my eye on the shade Bombshell, a beautiful pink frost shade. I love that the MAC frost formula doesn't look like you're stuck in the 90s, it just gives a nice pearlescent finish. They also stocked the complete RiRi hearts MAC collection which I loved the packaging of, but none of the actual products really caught my eye.

Whilst we were there we also made a trip to Poland which is quite close to Berlin and I got a dupe of Marc Jacobs' Dot. This was only about £7 and it smells exactly like the original fragrance! They stocked loads of dupes of well known fragrances but I'm not really a fan of cheap perfumes so I just got this one to see how it compares.

When we got back to Berlin I had a mooch around TK Maxx where I spotted this lovely watch by Pauls Boutique. To be honest the packaging caught my eye before the watch did, I'm a sucker for gorgeous packaging. I really like the watch as well though haha. My boyfriend also got me the cutest magazine which is called Daphne's Diary. It's full of DIY tips and tricks, recipes, and pretty pictures. I can't put it down, it has the cutest vintage design!

All in all I had a jolly good time over there, we've seen loads of interesting places and buildings and it was lovely getting to know my boyfriend's grandparents.

Have you ever been to Berlin?

Collective Haul Pt.2 - Beauty [Clinique, Rimmel, RealTechniques,..]

Please excuse the horrible picture, I forgot to photograph the brushes earlier! Going to replace it soon.
Hiya lovelies! Hope you had a great weekend! What have you been up to?

I didn't have much of a weekend really as I worked friday and saturday but luckily I have today off so I can prepare some posts. I posted quite a lot last month, then I went to Berlin earlier this month and didn't have time to schedule posts. When I came back I started my new job but I'll write a lifestyle/catch-up kind of post soon before I ramble on too much!

Today I'm going to show you part 2 of my collective haul which is all about beauty.
The first thing I picked up was Beyonce's Midnight Heat fragrance. Apparently this will be discontinued so I snapped up the last one for £3, what a bargain! It's a lovely a/w fragrance which isn't too heavy. On this occasion I also picked up a Playboy shower gel which came with a free body spray. I actually really like the Playboy fragrances! They do look tacky but they smell lovely and the scent lasts for ages so I'm excited to try the shower gel. I also gave in to the hype and picked up the Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss. I have to admit that I love it, it smells and looks amazing and moisturises my lips for hours. It's definitely worth the hype!

Ages ago my mum got me a little trial kit from Clinique which contained a couple of their Moisture Surge items. I loved the range but it's quite expensive, so when I spotted this little kit I had to have it. It contains trial sizes of their All About Eyes eye cream, Moisture Surge moisturiser and overnight mask as well as a sachet of their tinted moisturiser and one of the little makeup bags I never really use.

In TKMaxx I came across a Tantastic gift set. I haven't heard of this brand before but loved the packaging haha. For £5 I got the Instant Tan Leg Gel, Instant Tan and a mitt which I thought was a bargain. I'm yet to try everything but I'll make sure to let you know how I get on with it!

Asos had 30% off Rimmel a few weeks ago so I took advantage of that as well. I stocked up on my favourite highstreet foundation, namely their Wake Me Up foundation in ivory and the Stay Matte powder. I also got a Kate Moss lippie in 107, one of the most popular shades from the range. It's a beautiful deep red and I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of this in autumn and winter.

Last but not least I got some more Real Techniques brushes, they're hands down the best brushes I've ever had. I got the travel essentials kit after Sophia from Tattooed Tealady raved about it here and the setting brush. Next on my list is the Stippling Brush!

So that was part 2 of my collcective haul, I hope you enjoyed reading! There'll be a mini Berlin haul coming soon which will probably be the last one for a while as I'm now skint haha.

Do you use any of these products? Is there anything you want me to review?

Collective Haul Pt.1 - Clothes&Accessories [Primark, H&M]

Hiya lovelies!

First of all, sorry for the pic spam. I've promised you a haul post about two weeks ago but couldn't manage to schedule any posts before I went on holiday. Haul posts are some of my favourite posts to read and write and I've been looking forward to sharing my bargain buys with you guys. My best friend and I obviously went to Primark [and a few other places as well] who have some lovely things in at the moment. Turns out I've bought so much I've had to split this post into two parts, the first being clothes and accessoires.

I'll start with what I got from Primark, they had the most amazing things in their sale section and luckily there weren't just sizes 16 and 18 left. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with these sizes, they just don't fit me. I picked up two lovely light blue chiffon vests for £2 each, I love the bow in the front! One of them is see-through so I'll wear another vest underneath. I also bought some striped leggings which are the comfiest pyjama bottoms of all time. I love the design which reminds me a lot of the Gilly Hicks leggings and they were only £2 as well. My sister got the sparkly jumper last month and I knew I had to have it too. It has little rose gold studs all over which make it look super sparkly and festive! As I love anything sparkly I had to get the parka as well. I've been looking for a parka for ages and this one has sequined sleeves, what's not to love? Since I usually wear the most boring, monochrome clothes I thought I'd go for something more fancy this time so I got this cute navy coloured shirt with little boats all over. It looks lovely worn underneath a jumper. The black skull/floral print dress was about £3, I've started wearing dresses a lot this year and this one is so pretty, I love the zip pockets! Last but not least I got my first denim shirt, I'm just not sure how to style it yet.

That's it for clothes. I also bought some jar candles which smell divine, if you're following me on Instagram you might have already seen them. The large one was £1, such a bargain! I loved it so much that I went back for more but they only had the small ones left so I got some of these. I then got a six piece bracelet and earring set which I thought looked really cute, I love the teeny tiny pendants! You know how they keep luring you into buying things you usually wouldn't at the till, that's where I got their strawberry scented anti bacterial hand gel, which I actually really like.

We then went into H&M as I was looking for a winter jacket. This one ticks all the boxes for me! It has a hood with fake fur trim, a waist belt and it covers my derrière. Depending on the lighting it looks either black or olive which I really like. This was only £30!

Phew! That was a long one, pat on the back if you've made it through the whole post haha. Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed the first part of my haul!
