Hiya babes!
Hope you're all well and had a good week. Mine was alright, finally managed to get some christmas shopping done woo! This has to be my favourite time of the year and I can't wait to put up and decorate our tree. It's going to be an artificial one this year though, hated finding the fir needles in every single corner of the flat last year hehe.
Alright enough babbling, now onto my pre-christmas treat from the boyfriend. It's an YSL lipstick, oh golly good gosh can you believe it!!! Never had I thought he'd know, maybe he secretly took part in one of the previous #bbloggers chats where I said I'd love to find one under the tree? Haha don't think so but he definitely nailed it this time.
I'm also impressed with the
colour he chose, I'm wearing soft nude shades most of the time so he went for
107 Impetuous Beige, a pinky toned beige. Since these are called Rouge Volupte
Pearl they have a slightly frosty shimmer to them which I feared might look too
90s but it's actually really gorgeous and not overly shimmery! I guess it's one of those MLBB shades.
I don't know yet if the lipsticks are scented I'm afraid, I've been
poorly for a couple of days now and my nose is still blocked so I can't smell or
taste anything [so annoying when we ordered chinese the other day! Could of been
dog meat I wouldn't have known.]
Besides that I'm pretty much obsessed with
the packaging. A lipstick can't get more luxurious than this and I'd definitely
say it's worth its rather hefty pricetag of £23.50.
On application this
lipstick feels very smooth and soft and eventhough my lips are a bit dry and
cracked it doesn't highlight or cling to dry patches. It's really creamy and
definitely one of my [if not the one] favourite lipstick in my evergrowing
collection already.

This is my first YSL lipstick but I'm already
planning on getting at least another one, are there any shades you could recommend?

Me too! I was chuffed he remembered and got one for me ha. Thank you love, can't recommend it enough especially as the colour isn't too overpowering, guess it suits most skintones xx
