Hiya lovelies :) hope you're alright!
If you're following me on Twitter you might know that I went to Cologne last saturday. It's
been lovely and although I'm proper skint at the moment, I couldn't resist a cheeky Bodyshop purchase seeing as they had 3 for 2 on all the travelsizes plus an
extra 20% off as it was international womens day the day before.
There
were loads of lovely shops on the high street and I definitely want to go back
for a spot of shopping in the future. Anyway, I ended up getting three mini body
butters as I have enough showergels and lip products to last me a couple of
years and I haven't had one of those since I was about 13 [god, that's almost ten years ago now!].
I've heard loads of people rave about the moringa scent so I
got one of those and it smells divine! Like actual flowers, who would have
thought? I also got a satsuma and a strawberry one. Satsuma again smells amazing,
whilst strawberry does smell nice but a tad too artificial for my
liking. They also differ in terms of consistency, whilst
moringa and satsuma are more of a creamy, thick body lotion, the strawberry one
really does feel like butter. They don't take that long to sink in, think
Soap&Glorys The Righteous Butter, and the smell lingers for a good
few hours. I also noticed that my skin felt lovely until the next day,
something I never experience with a body lotion, then again body butters are
supposed to be more nourishing, aren't they.
The little pots contain 50ml of product each and I think I'll get about four uses out of them which isn't too bad considering I only paid about £2 for each of them. I definitely want to try some more scents such as pink grapefruit, mango and vineyard peach, they all smell amazing! I do think the fullsize tubs are quite pricey so I might stick with the travel sizes though. I really enjoy using these and would recommend them if you have dry skin like me or just want to smell super nice :)
Have you tried the TBS body butters? What are your favourite scents from their range?
