Hiya lovelies! First things first, thank you so much for following my little
bloggy :) You may have noticed that recently I hit 200 gfc followers which means it's
giveaway time, yey! Your support and comments truly mean a lot and I can't thank
you guys enough, although 200 might not seem a lot to some of you, I'm overwhelmed! The giveaway
will go live at the beginning of may so keep your eyes peeled for
that.
Back to the actual topic of this post, as you probably realised MUA
released a new range last month called Undress Your Skin which includes a new primer,
undereye concealer, highlighter, foundation and their undress me too palette. As soon as they were realeased I got the highlighter, foundation
and eyeshadow palette which I'm going to review for you in three parts as I don't want this post to be super long, you know I'd keep on rambling forever!
I've never tried their foundations
until then as the swatches always seemed to be too dark for me even with the
lightest shades so I decided to give this a try. It was on introductory offer for
£3 so I snapped up the lightest shade porcelain and love it! The best part about it is that it comes in a squeezy tube so nothing goes to waste as it often does with glass bottles. Since it says illuminating foundation on the tube I was a bit worried it could be too glittery but it's not even shimmery! It just kind of brightens your skin if that makes sense. Also, it looks really natural once applied and I'd say it gives a light to medium coverage, I'd advise you to apply two thin layers if you prefer medium coverage as it goes a bit streaky if you put on a lot at once. All in all it's a lovely foundation I really enjoy using, the only downside is there are only three shades available which is definitely something MUA should work on!
Just to give you an idea of the shade, I have no idea why my hand looks that red in the picture! |
Have you tried MUA's new foundation yet? Did you get anything else from their new range?
I think I might try the foundation, good for a light summer coverage! x
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! Go for it :) x
DeleteCongrats on the followers!
ReplyDeleteThe foundation sounds nice! I tend to steer away from MUA foundations because one that I tried was too oily but I might give this a go! I like that it had no shimmer to it but it still brightens your face.
Hareem x
Thanks babe :) That's what I like about it, too! Although I do love Rimmel's wake me up foundations which contains shimmer as well. You do need to wear powder on top but it's not that oily! x
Deletelove mua products! at such a great price the quality is pretty damn good!

Couldn't agree more! xx
DeleteI have this foundation but not to keen to give it a try because I have extremely dry skin and this seems to give my hand a flaky look god knows how it would look on my face but Will try it out and do a review :D
