BEDM day 2 - spring is here!

Hiya lovelies!

So today's topic of the blog every day in may challenge is kind of an easy one. Although it doesn't really feel like spring yet, I've swapped berry toned lipstick shades for bright coral and pink ones a little while ago. Since this is supposed to be a beauty blog I thought I'd share my top five lipstick picks for spring with you guys as wearing brighter makeup is one of my favourite things about spring! :)

Kate Moss for Rimmel Lasting Finish lipstick shade 16 - This is probably one of my favourite lipsticks of all time! It's a lovely pink shade with a hint of coral which is quite bright but not too in-your-face. It's super wearable and I'd say it suits most skintones, it's also such a bargain at £5.49!

Topshop Ohh la la - This was my first Topshop makeup item and I'm loving it already! It smells lovely and I love the bright orange colour, it's really pigmented and I don't need to touch up every hour, it's proper long-lasting. Also, how gorgeous is the packaging! I really want to get my hands on a few more shades now, for £8 a pop they're quite affordable.

Revlon lip butter in Juicy Papaya&Wild Watermelon - I've already raved about these shades here, these are two of the four new shades released for spring. I love the sheer wash of colour they give and how they feel on your lips. Juicy Papaya is perfect if you shy away from bold colours as it's really subtle but still noticable. Wild Watermelon on the other hand is a bright red shade which is equally lovely.

Clinique Chubby Stick in Mighty Mimosa - Yet another first! When Clinique released their Chubby Sticks a few years ago they didn't really catch my eye as I knew they wouldn't have a scent which is one thing I adore about beauty products haha. However since I have really dry lips I thought I should give them a go and managed to snap one up with 50% off. You have to put on quite a lot for the colour to become visible but I really like this particular shade and that it doesn't cling to dry bits!

There you go, this is what I'm looking foward to come spring! What are you most excited about?

    1. I agree! The Topshop lipsticks are amazing, I'd recommend Macaroon which is a brighter pink or Pillow Talk which is a pale pink, depends on what you're looking for :) xx
