Mini Look Beauty Haul

Hiya lovelies!

A while ago Millie who runs Pearls & Poodles [one of my favourite blogs!] reviewed a couple of Look Beauty lipsticks. I've never tried their products before but knew I wanted to give them a go as I loved the swatches on Millie's blog. Look Beauty had a 3 for 2 offer on their website plus free shipping which I obviously had to take advantage of. So I got one of their lipsticks, a cream and a powder blusher as well as a nail varnish. I didn't expect much except for a gorgeous packaging but I actually love everything!

The square magnetic packaging is so pretty, it looks like it's really heavy but it's not. I chose the shade Petal Nude which I'd describe as a pinky beigey nude kind of shade. The Loud Lips lipstick is super creamy which is probably why the staying power isn't the best but I don't mind reapplying every two hours. It also has a strong vanilla scent to it which I know some people love and others hate, personally I like it and would love to add some more shades to my collection! I already have my eye on Tangerine Cream and Baby Doll.

The Fresh Cheeks cream blush comes in three shades, melon [the one pictured above] guava and lychee. Melon is a gorgeous pink shade with coral undertones and should suit most skintones. You don't need to be as careful as with the Sleek cream blush but a light hand is recommended though. I love Look Beauty's packaging, everything looks much more expensive than it actually is! The cream blush comes with a mirror on the back which is great for touch ups during the day although I feel I don't need them as it lasts until I take my makeup off in the evenings. It's also really creamy and easy to blend, great if you've never worked with cream blushers before!

At first I was a tad disappointed by the Make Me Blush powder blush. I got shade 4 rosy and whilst the pigmentation is a let down it looks lovely paired with the cream blush to add a bit of shimmer. The packaging is lovely as well, the matte silver compact comes with a generous sized mirror inside, great to pop in your handbag. I wouldn't purchase any of the other shades as they seem quite similar but I'm glad I got this as it goes well together with the cream blush.

The Nail Pop nail varnish is a red-blue-silver glitter polish called Cool Britannia. I tried to get my hands on the Barry M version of this for ages but it was always sold out so I opted for this instead and I'm glad I did! This is opaque in two coats and dries rather quickly as well. I'm not blown away by the range of shades but I really do like this particular one!

Look Beauty is available to buy in selected Superdrug stores as well as online. They often have some amazing offers going on on their website, everything's 1/2 price at the moment so go grab yourself a bargain!

Have you tried any Look Beauty products? What are your favourite products from their range?
