Please excuse the horrible picture, I forgot to photograph the brushes earlier! Going to replace it soon. |
Hiya lovelies! Hope you had a great weekend! What have you been up to?
I
didn't have much of a weekend really as I worked friday and saturday but luckily I have today
off so I can prepare some posts. I posted quite a lot last month, then I went to Berlin earlier this month and
didn't have time to schedule posts. When I came back I started my new job but I'll write a lifestyle/catch-up kind of post soon before I ramble on too much!
Today I'm going
to show you part 2 of my collective haul which is all about beauty.
The first
thing I picked up was Beyonce's Midnight Heat fragrance. Apparently this will be
discontinued so I snapped up the last one for £3, what a bargain! It's a lovely
a/w fragrance which isn't too heavy. On this occasion I also picked up a Playboy
shower gel which came with a free body spray. I actually really like the Playboy
fragrances! They do look tacky but they smell lovely and the scent lasts for
ages so I'm excited to try the shower gel. I also gave in to the hype and picked up the Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss. I have to admit that I love it, it smells and looks amazing and moisturises my lips for hours. It's definitely worth the hype!
Ages ago my mum got me a little trial kit from Clinique which contained a couple of their Moisture Surge items. I loved the range but it's quite expensive, so when I spotted this little kit I had to have it. It contains trial sizes of their All About Eyes eye cream, Moisture Surge moisturiser and overnight mask as well as a sachet of their tinted moisturiser and one of the little makeup bags I never really use.
In TKMaxx I came across a
Tantastic gift set. I haven't heard of this brand before but loved the packaging
haha. For £5 I got the Instant Tan Leg Gel, Instant Tan and a mitt which I
thought was a bargain. I'm yet to try everything but I'll make sure to let you
know how I get on with it!
Asos had 30% off Rimmel a few weeks ago so I took advantage of
that as well. I stocked up on my favourite highstreet foundation, namely their
Wake Me Up foundation in ivory and the Stay Matte powder. I also got a Kate Moss
lippie in 107, one of the most popular shades from the range. It's a beautiful deep red and I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of this in autumn and winter.
Last but not
least I got some more Real Techniques brushes, they're hands down the best
brushes I've ever had. I got the travel essentials kit after Sophia from Tattooed Tealady
raved about it here and the setting brush. Next on my list is the Stippling
Brush!
So that was part 2 of my collcective haul, I hope you enjoyed reading! There'll be a mini Berlin haul coming soon which will probably be the last one for a while as I'm now skint haha.
Do you use any of these products? Is there anything you want me
to review?
