Tanya Burr Lips And Nails - Picnic in the park & Afternoon Tea

My recent posts were a bit lip product heavy I have to admit, but I couldn't wait to put in my two cents on these. Every blogger and their dog went crazy about the Tanya Burr Lips and Nails range last month, and I for one couldn't wait to get my hands on some of the bits too. To be honest I wasn't really bothered by the nail varnishes, none of the shades stood out to me, but I obviously had to try the lip glosses! After a lot of uhm-ing and ah-ing I ordered the shades Picnic in the park and Afternoon Tea from Feel Unique to see if they're worth the hype. Also, and I'm not going lie, I just loved the idea of owning something the lovely Tanya has created. So what do I think of my picks?

The range consists of 12 gorgeous shimmery and cream shades. I decided to stick with the cream ones and I couldn't be happier with the shades I picked. The first thing I noticed was that it has the same sponge tip applicator as the Revlon ColorBurst glosses, they're supposed to 'hug' your lips and make application a lot easier. Having quite a small mouth and thin lips it actually makes it harder for me, but I don't mind, they're still easy to apply. The second thing I noticed was the scent, which is amazing! I can't quite put my finger on what it is, they kind of smell like sweeties, which of course is right up my street. I also love the little heart on top of the cap, it's just a nice touch, isn't it? The shades differ in terms of pigmentation, Afternoon Tea, which is a gorgeous peachy nude is amazingly pigmented for a gloss whilst Picnic in the park, a bright pink isn't as pigmented, which is a bit of a let down seeing as I love Afternoon Tea so much. They both last around three hours before I feel I need to reapply, which is pretty great for a lip gloss. They do feel quite sticky on application however they don't feel sticky once you're wearing them if that makes any sense. I absolutely love these glosses, especially Afternoon Tea, and I can see me using these a lot as they literally go with any makeup look! The gloss retails for £7 which is very affordable and I'll definitely have a look at some more shades as there's nothing I don't like about them.

What do you think of the Tanya Burr Lips and Nails range?
