Top 5 Tuesday - A/W lipsticks

Hiya lovelies!

Time for another Top 5 Tuesday, woo-hoo! This time I thought I'd share my top autumn/winter lipstick picks with you. Some choices are quite obvious, like the Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick in the shade #107 - I wish these had names! It took me ages to get this and I'm so glad I finally did. It's the most beautiful burgundy/berry shade and although it does look scary in the bullet it's actually really wearable.

Although I love a berry lip as much as the next girl, sometimes a smokey eye requires a nude lip to go with it. My favourite nude at the minute is the Urban Decay Pocket Rocket lipgloss in the shade Max, which is super pigmented. It smells amazing, too! The Revlon lip butters are another staple product in my makeup bag and Wild Watermelon is perfect for any time of year. It kind of looks like you've just eaten cherries [although I can't stand cherries shock, horror!]. The next lipstick is a total bargain at £1, it's MUA's shade #1, a deep red. Compared to the Rimmel offering this is less purpley and more in-your-face. I really like most of MUA's lipsticks, they're pigmented and last really well. My last pick would be the Rimmel Apocalips in Apocaliptic, a bright fuchsia pink with amazing staying power and pigmentation. I never thought I'd ever sport a bright lip but these haven't left my makeup bag for the past couple of weeks and I'm sure they'll still be around for quite some time.

I hope you enjoyed this post lovelies. I'd love to know your top lipstick picks!

  1. I only recently bought 107 as well, it really is lovely though. I think it does actually have a name "wine", I've heard it called before. Not sure where it says that though! xxx

  2. I've not stopped using 107, such a addiction plus its much more wearable than it looks! I love the UD nude colour too, can never go wrong with a good nude! The packaging is fab too.
