Clarins Beauty Flash Balm

Hiya lovelies! Happy friday!

Just a quick review today as my laptop broke last week. My boyfriend kindly let me use his computer to publish this post before we're going to London for the weekend, yay!

The Clarins Flash Beauty Balm has been a cult beauty product for the past 30 years. Described as an Instant Radiance Booster, a thin layer of the Beauty Flash Balm can be applied to 'tighten and brighten' your skin, or as a mask applied more generously. Now I didn't really know what to expect when I bought this way back in 2011. The lady at the Clarins counter in Boots said it's one of their best selling products so I thought I'd give it a whirl [I was obviously impressed by the sparkly lid] plus I recently found out that the Faiers sisters swear by this. Love them or hate them but their makeup always looks flawless so I've been using this as a primer for the last couple of weeks and I must admit it really has grown on me!
First of all, the scent of this just oozes luxury. It has a light apricot colour and glides onto your skin like a dream. It feels sticky for a couple of seconds but sinks in quickly, leaving your skin looking gorgeous. I've always been a matte foundation kind of girl but ever since I started blogging I'm going for the dewy look more often and this helps achieving it. I feel like this makes your foundation stay on that bit longer and it doesn't cake as quickly. It's definitely a product which has grown on me and I'd even go as far as saying I will repurchase this once I run out.
This also makes for a perfect christmas gift for mums, sisters, aunties and nans alike. Although it's no neccessity I really like the Beauty Flash Balm and do think it's worth the £29 price tag.
Have you tried the Beauty Flash Balm?

  1. I used to use this all the time, have kind of forgotten about it. Think I need to reinvest! xx

  2. This is one product I could not be without either in my own makeup bag or my pro kit. I may not always reach for it first but it's a classic and it does exactly what it claims xx
