Nspa Japanese Spa Rituals

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that Adrienne completely spoiled me in our box swap in January. One of the lovely gifts included was this Nspa Japanese Cherry Blossom gift set which comes with a bath melt, wash grains and a body crème. First of all, I love these kind of gift sets! Not only are they handy for travelling, they are also a great way to try out products before you buy the full-size. In case you haven't heard of Nspa before, it was created by the Experts at Nirvana Spa, which apparently is the UK's No 1 day spa, and they're available exclusively at Asda (so you can treat yourself whilst doing the food shopping). This is in no way a sponsored post, I just really like the concept of the range. There are different scent ranges and regimes, each of which includes three to four simple steps for you to recreate your spa experience at home. Each product is labelled with a number indicating the step of the chosen routine, but you can of course mix and match as you please. The Japanese Cherry Blossom range was a limited collection for Christmas last year, but it's still available via the Spa's own website. So here's my thoughts on it!

Cherry Blossom and Rice Milk bath melt
The bath melt comes in the cutest little bottle and has a subtle floral scent, just as you would expect. It's definitely noticeable, just not overpowering. Also, a little bit goes a long way and I was surprised about the amount of bubbles it created. Unlike other cheap(-ish) bath foams, this one doesn't dry out your skin and the bubbles last a long time as well. I really didn't expect it to be this good and I would definitely repurchase it. They currently only do a Patchouli and Ylang Ylang one which I'd love to try!

Wash Grains With Crushed Bamboo
This is one of the most interesting scrubs ever, it's basically a dry powder scrub, something I have never tried before. You just rub a small amount onto wet skin or mix it in with your shower gel, which is what I tend to do to make it a little less harsh. The scent is quite intensive though, so I probably wouldn't mix it with heavily scented shower gels.

Whipped Body Crème
You know I'm a sucker for body butters and this little gem ticks all the boxes. It smells heavenly and sinks in super quickly, but the best part about it is the texture. It's a lightweight, mousse-like cream which makes your skin feel like velvet, it's that soft! This has to be my favourite out of the three and I will definitely repurchase one of their body butters.

My verdict - The quality of their products is great and their beautiful packaging makes them look a lot more expensive than they actually are, but I don't think Nspa gets the recognition it deservesI am now lusting after their entire skincare range, especially the Deep Hydrating Facial Oil and Revitalising Vitamin Toning Mist.

Have you tried anything from Nspa? What are your thoughts?
