What I got for my birthday & Collective Haul May 2014 feat. Neom, Zoeva, RT..

Hiya lovelies! I hope you're all well. This week has been quite stressful, hence the lack of posts and my absence on Twitter over the past week. I really wanted to write this post as soon as possible though, just because hauls and birthday posts are some of my favourite posts to read and write, so if you're a nosey parker like me, this one's for you! I'd also like to take a second (or line, for that matter) to thank you for all the lovely birthday tweets and messages, you guys are the best and made my birthday even more special :) However, I feel like these posts need a little disclaimer since they're not everyone's cup of tea. Showing off is not the purpose of this post, I am really blessed and grateful and I'm not saying this because I think I have to!

This is a mixture of both birthday presents and stuff I treated myself to this month. Please excuse the shoddy picture, I just couldn't get it right! Anyway, I'll start with my lovely birthday presents, my nan got me two of these adorable red and white mugs from Lexington Company, which is my favourite homeware brand. I love me a pretty mug, it is what it is. She also got me the Neom Real Luxury bath oil I spotted in TKMaxx the other week but didn't buy (which I regretted once I got home..bless her). The Zoeva bag in the front actually holds their rose gold brush collection, which I have been eying up for ages, and this was a gift from my parents, along with a foldable mirror which is great for travelling. I also received a Baylis&Harding hand wash and lotion duo in Strawberries&Cream, which smells amazing and my dad also got me an electric toothbrush because I asked for one. Can you tell I'm getting old, being excited for an electric toothbrush..

On to the stuff I treated myself to - as you might know, FeelUnique have come up with this amazing offer called #UniqueTreats, where they have a special offer every day for the month of May. I snapped up the Real Techniques Sam's Picks set for a mere £15 which made it half price, how could I resist? They also had a tenner off the Urban Decay Naked palettes, so I decided to complete my collection and ordered the Naked 2. I then also had a 20% off code for HQ Hair so I got some more RT brushes - the retractable Kabuki brush, the stippling brush, the foundation brush and their Miracle Complexion sponge. What can I say, I am obsessed! They are easily some of the best (and affordable) makeup brushes. I also really wanted to try some Elemis products so I ordered their Balancing Radiance Collection, and so far I'm impressed. Last but not least I treated myself to the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow stick in the shade Blond Opal

I'm going to review most of the products mentioned individually, so I'm not giving anything away just yet. Do let me know if there's anything you are particularly interested in and I'll try and get the reviews up asap. As always, I hope you enjoyed reading, please feel free to leave the links to your recent haul posts or videos in the comment section below!
